Yes, it did cause the odd holdup on hills but. hey, it was a quiet October Sunday. on the level and downhill it was quite swift - 25-30mph. It has two car gearboxes, so it can cope with mountains (very slowly) and motorways (a bit less slowly, but illegally).

The distance covered by this front section (40 riders) from Norwich to Dunmow was 103 miles. The World Record for largest pedal-powered vehicle, with 104 riders (shown in the still photo towards the end of the 'remix' video) was over 700m in a straight line along the runway at Duxford Airfield.

Excuse me, but "bike" or "bicycle" refers to a two-wheeled vehicle, so technically this is NOT a bike/bicycle.

With all the people on that there should be alot of torque to be able to gear it for a little speed.

I found this searching for 'bicycle trailer' - a subject of great personal interest to me = and was greatly surprised, since I grew up in Gt Dunmow.
