The opening cutscene of FO3 was made so incredibly brilliant by this song. That camera panback out of the bus while this played over the radio, one of the reasons FO3 is one of my favorite games ever. So awesome.

How can you prefer Fallout 3 when they just rape the background of Fallout ? It was so bland compare to NV and the old Fallout... It was not bad, it allow a ressurection of Fallout's world (and that's really a good point) but it feel not like a Fallout at all.

How can you prefer Fallout 3 when they just rape the background of Fallout ? It was so bland compare to NV and the old Fallout... It was not bad, it allow a ressurection of Fallout's world (and that's really a good point) but it feel not like a Fallout at all.

@BecauseIs But the plot make no sense. Why is the enclave in Washington ? Super mutant are not suppose to be there either. Aggressive ghouls start in fallout 3 (the ghoul are not blood thirst in fallout 1 or 2, even if they don't like humans). It's the setting, an incoherent plot...There was really more interactions in fallout 2. They were really funnier.
Ho, and they promise a lot of endings... There was 2. Your interactions had no influence in the end. Unlike all the other fallout

And whether the interactions are funny or not, it's irrelevant. They aren't funny most of the time, but they aren't shallow. And i don't understand where you're coming with the incoherent plot, as it is as simple as RPGs go. Go Find your Dad, your Dad dies, You must finish what he started.

@BecauseIs By the way, you said earlier that F 3 had fallout spirit. But that was the biggest critic from the old fans : it was fallout without being fallout. An empty shell. New Vegas is really more close to the origin. Maybe because they get the old staff of Fallout 1 & 2 and they were preparing a fallout 3 who was cancel.

@ChouanB Umm, No. I'm pretty sure most fans loved F3. If they didn't it was usually because it was no longer turn-based and overhead. Think about it though. Of course fallout NV feels more like the first two. But we're talking about going from west coast to east coast here. Where the bombs actually dropped. Obviously it wont feel the same. (And yes, it also has to do with the game being mainly written by black isle, the original creators of fallout. Though I still F3 did the series justice.)

Your last sentence is the key of the problem. You barely paid attention to dialogue... But they were so good in fallout 1,2 and New Vegas ! another problem from F 3...

To be honest, I didn't really like Fallout 1 or 2. I tried playing both, but then I thought of this song and thought "Screw it, I'm playing Fallout 3." Best game ever. :D
