Granted there is no gameplay footage here. Mostly everything was taken from the FMVs. However, compared to the graphics of FFVI at the time, FFVII was a huge leap into the 3D world. Naturally the proud developers may want to show off the power of their engine, and rightly so I might add. Role-playing gamers knew what they were getting into at the time.

It's a TV ad, so it's natural they show only the good stuff and not the ugly stuff. They want you to buy it ;p
