Though I agree that he doesnt have the gravel that made Hendrix's viouce so recognizable and timeless...

you cant deny that he doesnt have a strong voice

i dont reall think that he is trying to imitate hendrix or foy...simply because he cant...

he kinda turned it into a a pop/rock/acousitc song...not really a fan of any of those genres..but it still sounds solid and rhytthmiic
