Here's an even easier way to kill Dark Link WITHOUT Biggoron's sword or Din's Fire.

Just whip out the Megaton Hammer you used in the fire temple and whack the shit out of him.

He won't defend or attack.

Dear God THANK YOU. I've beaten this game on my own before, but I'm playing it on the 3DS, and I was completely lost because I forgot there was one of those "Song of Time" blocks in the Longshot Room. I just opened the treasure chest and left. And then I got my tunic and shield eaten by the Like-Like and had to warp to the Temple of Time so I could go to Kakariko and Zora's Domain to buy replacements.

I found that waiting for the bottom moving blade to hit the right wall did not work...instead I waited for the top blade to hit the right wall, which was how I got up to the boss door on one shot. Awesome walk-through nonetheless

I was expecting you to say the Shadow Temple, because it was made to look scary from the beginning. Although some might say the Water Temple is slightly unnerving, since some people fear of being under or close to water. The fact that you are there, all alone can have some implications. I bought a wii over summer and played the series backwards. First I played Twilight Princess, then I played Wind Waker, now I am currently trying to beat ocarina before I purchase Skyward Sword ( which looks amazing by the way! critics like game informer gave it a 10/10, I'm so excited) But anyway I had no problems with any temple in any of of the Zelda games I mentioned until the freakinn water temple in oot. Hey, I found a way, go to options, configure controller plugin, in corner of down-left on analog pad just reduce "range" and you will be able to move the longshot slowly,

I hate this temple so much. I played it with a walkthrough (didn't want to use the wrong key and get stuck forever like I've heard can happen) and it took me SIX hours. It's just so damn tedious (especially after playing my favorite dungeon, the Fire Temple).

you can also kill dark link by just standing in front of him and hold ur shield out and just keep jabbing at him. in a few tries u will hit him and then turn around and just keep doing it...that s what i did because i ran out of magic and had no potion
