@ricmilu Thanks ! I don't remember how long it took... I probably did it all on the same day, but had been playing keyboards for 15+ years prior to that so it helped... I confess it was hard to learn by ear though, especially the low notes starting at 1:06.
@moudjib69 PA800 is an arranger as far as I know... Aimed at people who play without a backing band but need the built-in arrangements to accompany them. The D50 is a cool retro synth but it's very limited. The Fantom X6 and G6 (G6 is a newer version of the X6) are modern workstations, ie keyboards with plenty of top-quality sounds, a built-in sequencer in which you can record you own tracks (including drum parts), and even a sampler and audio track recorder. Useful or not depends on what you do
I currently have 3 keyboards (Roland XP80, Fantom X6, Alesis Ion) in my setup but also a spare Korg 01WFD in a studio somewhere, waiting to come back home soon. I've sold some synths when I moved house last year (Juno 106, Yamaha SY99, Korg DW8000).
QUESTION: I have the fantom x8 and i was wondering what extension (.SVQ or .SMF) did you save it as in order to tranfer your tracks done inside the Fantom into another sequencer like Protools?
I played the drum part in the sequencer and looped it. There are some beats programmed in the X6 but I haven't used them yet (probably will never use them).
can you make a tutorial video on how to play the ladyhawke theme ? Or do you have any sheet music or keyboard tabs ? (i really want to learn how to play this sooo bad !!)
You're probably talking about the Behringer V-Amp Pro. I recently replaced it with a Boss GT-Pro.
Above the V-Amp there are 2 other Behringer units (Mic2200 and Virtualizer DSP2024). Below, an E-magic AMT8, a Korg Wavestation SR and a Yamaha TX81Z.
I play guitar and after a lot of listenings, I recently could play the guitar solo...I would love to play this song with someone like you..unfortunatelly I presume that you live in the USA right?
Belgium?? damn!! I think it would be much harder to play this song with you...I live in Mexico!!...I hope I could upload the guitar solo soon...Greetings
hey bro i cant find anyone who will just play the grand piano on this thing for me with a nice song could you do that so i can hear the grand piano i wanna buy one but i wanna hear the piano sound first in action. thanks bro!
I have a video ("Broken Dream - work in progress") is which you can hear the grand piano. The video itself is in mono but you'll find a link to the full song in the description of that video.
The Alan Parsons Project was/is a prog rock band so finding tabs for this them would be pretty hard, but you did such a cool job of playing the theme of Ladyhawke :o)
I have no tabs, I played the track again and again and again, part after part after part, trying to figure out each chord. It took some time and effort but it's a cool piece to play, imo.
Thanks! But I'm only using 2 fingers of my left hand on the guitar... lol... I should replay it someday, it would be much better now that I've spent some more hours practicing my solo technique.
Cool. I like the guitar added. Im learning to play guitar, Im a beginner, and I play the keybaords, so now I know what it looks like if I make one of these videos and play both instruments... Great Job.

Thats a tough one man. The Fantom is better for sequencing songs but the Korg is better for ease of making new sounds.
