  • bravo, bravissimo...

    :)

  • Good job! I appreciate ,because this the very first Ian Bairnson's Main Title guitar solo cover:) I am posting you my "End Title"work:)

  • wunderschön....super gespielt....

  • nice job.

  • Bernard Hermann, Ennio Morricone. you know pre Cocaine.....

  • The 80's what an amazing decade of Shit music for the Cinema.

  • @SidewalkFrequencies so what decade was the golden era for you exactly?

  • It sounds MacGyver theme song at 0:35-0:43!!!

  • It sounds MacGyver theme song at 0:35-0:43!!!

  • that's crazy man! haha I remember this when I was maybe 5. very nice

  • im inspired

  • za koliko para moze da se nadje ovaj roland polavan

  • Man, all that work making the keyboard sound great, just to add that unfortunate "guitar solo." great job buddy.

  • @instereovideos Well that was years ago. I was bad on guitar. I'm better now but haven't bothered yet making a video on guitar. Thanks for watching!

  • Amaaaaaaaaaaaazing.......

  • Really cool! Too bad the recording to YT isn't very good.

  • nice

  • That. Was. Awsome... 8 (

  • Olá !! posso fazer qualquer outro tidpo de ritmo nesse tecladoo ?? Tipo .. uma criação minha ? da mesma forma ki posso fazer no YAMAHA ? obrigado .

  • Real nice. The Fantom still looks great in the aerial view too.

  • Well done. I love this track. :)

  • You lost me at guitar

  • Amazing, how long did that take you to learn? Best:)

  • @ricmilu Thanks ! I don't remember how long it took... I probably did it all on the same day, but had been playing keyboards for 15+ years prior to that so it helped... I confess it was hard to learn by ear though, especially the low notes starting at 1:06.

  • nice.... whats the difference between a Fantom Xa and X6,7 and 8? i have the Xa but havent played with the X6 so i really dont kno...

  • 

Thats how many stars i rate this!

  • Hello ! Very cool ! What's the difference between Fantom X6 and G6 (or G7 and G8)

And I have already a PA800 Korg and Roland D50, how can it be useful for me ?

  • @moudjib69 PA800 is an arranger as far as I know... Aimed at people who play without a backing band but need the built-in arrangements to accompany them. The D50 is a cool retro synth but it's very limited. The Fantom X6 and G6 (G6 is a newer version of the X6) are modern workstations, ie keyboards with plenty of top-quality sounds, a built-in sequencer in which you can record you own tracks (including drum parts), and even a sampler and audio track recorder. Useful or not depends on what you do

  • Love it ! Thanx for uploading..

  • Awesome :D

  • crank that music down

  • Skvělé! Great!

  • Do you have the sheets for this song? Perhaps you could write them? =D

  • Sounds great! Maybe play the guitar solo on the keys next time :) Actually if you add vibrato to your playing it would sound better...but nice job!

  • cool can you do MACGUYVER?

  • Yes I can.

  • Damn your are good, have the movie on VHS been watching it since i was a kid.

  • That was unbelievable!!! I LOVE that song!!! Just amazing!!! Wish I could play like that!

  • I love this, well done! One of the oddest, yet amazing, theme tunes ever! x

  • thats wats up exelent job!

  • GOOD...GOOD...MUITO BOM

  • Muito bom!!! Muito Bom!!!

    Great Perfomance !!!

  • Great job there.

  • awesome! Love that song! ^^

  • Thanks for sharing

  • Nice track suit pants on the guitar player...LOL...

  • Damn! You play really well, I love this song from Ladyhawk.

  • do u think at $1450 for the X6 is a good price currently? I don't know whether to buy a Korg M3 Module ($1370) or the X6 keyboard

  • Thats a tough one man. The Fantom is better for sequencing songs but the Korg is better for ease of making new sounds.

I have a fantom x8 & since then, I've lost interest in relationships ha ha!

  • wicked man thanks from bringing back memories

  • Great performance of a great soundtrack! Thanks!

  • holy shit, you're awesome!!! i bought this soundtrack when i was in my early teens. the guitar solo was unexpected and took this over the top!

  • dang how many key bords do u have?!

  • I currently have 3 keyboards (Roland XP80, Fantom X6, Alesis Ion) in my setup but also a spare Korg 01WFD in a studio somewhere, waiting to come back home soon. I've sold some synths when I moved house last year (Juno 106, Yamaha SY99, Korg DW8000).

  • holy crap that is friggen awesome

  • your beyound cool and fantastic!!!! love this post!!!

  • hey dude where did you find the tabs?

    you rock bro!

i whant to learn that song too

    !

  • Aaaaah my favorite movie!!!!!

Next to the Goonies and Willow.

  • brilliant

  • Whats the difference from x8, x7, and x6....beside prices -_-.

  • Number of keys, size and weight.

X8 has a heavy keyboard like a digital piano.

  • Can I make a request? The theme from the old TV show, Streethawk - originally by Tangerine Dream I believe. :D

  • Very nice. Great sound. Good beat. Thanks for sharing.

  • Nothing more hilarious than a medieval movie with 80's theme music... hahahahahahahahahaha.

  • who da man!! I dunno.. I'm kinda gettin that St. Ettienne vibe all ova again.. ta V. much 4 postin...

  • You're great guy!

  • HAHA this guy ain't doing shit for anybody! I love it! Great video!!!!

  • this is amazing...very nice job!

  • nul

  • can you make a tutorial video for the keyboard part ?

  • Sorry no I can't ;)

I don't have as much free time as I had when I made this video.

  • or can you post the keyboard fingerings or sheet music ?

  • I don't have such things, I played it all by ear. ;)

  • can you post tabs for the guitar solo ?

  • Sorry I'm not a guitarist and I've never used tabs in my life ;)

(well, after months of additional practice I begin to consider myself as a guitarist, but I still don't use tabs)

  • how did you set up the drum beats, were they already programmed in the X6 ?

  • I played the drum part in the sequencer and looped it. There are some beats programmed in the X6 but I haven't used them yet (probably will never use them).

  • classic film with great soundtrack and well played and the guitar caught me by suprise

video is a job well done

  • thanks,trevor :)

can you make a tutorial video on how to play the ladyhawke theme ? Or do you have any sheet music or keyboard tabs ? (i really want to learn how to play this sooo bad !!)

  • what is all of the settings and voices you have set for this on the X6 ?

  • Track 1 in the sequencer is the string sound (X Strings if I remember well). Track 10 is the drumkit (Standard Kit 1).

  • You're probably talking about the Behringer V-Amp Pro. I recently replaced it with a Boss GT-Pro.

Above the V-Amp there are 2 other Behringer units (Mic2200 and Virtualizer DSP2024). Below, an E-magic AMT8, a Korg Wavestation SR and a Yamaha TX81Z.

  • ill trade you *looks in pocketet* a pound coin and a lollypop for it all :P

  • I play guitar and after a lot of listenings, I recently could play the guitar solo...I would love to play this song with someone like you..unfortunatelly I presume that you live in the USA right?

  • No, I live in Belgium ;)

I play the guitar much better now, maybe I should do a new version of that song but I don't plan to do it soon.

  • Belgium?? damn!! I think it would be much harder to play this song with you...I live in Mexico!!...I hope I could upload the guitar solo soon...Greetings

  • Gr8 job! sounds like macgyver :D

  • hey bro i cant find anyone who will just play the grand piano on this thing for me with a nice song could you do that so i can hear the grand piano i wanna buy one but i wanna hear the piano sound first in action. thanks bro!

  • I have a video ("Broken Dream - work in progress") is which you can hear the grand piano. The video itself is in mono but you'll find a link to the full song in the description of that video.

  • marveleous,must be expensive..

  • four stars, the fifth one will be for a better guitar solo :) btw, you did a really great job, congrats!

  • I've been working on my guitar playing lately. Maybe I'll do a better version someday! (sorry for multiple answers... sorted now! lol)

  • wonderful...the beat is played with roland??? it´s perfect sound..

  • somewhere there's a homeless drummer... think about it.

  • The Alan Parsons Project was/is a prog rock band so finding tabs for this them would be pretty hard, but you did such a cool job of playing the theme of Ladyhawke :o)

  • Join KRE's movement, come listen on his channel...

  • Realy nice playing!

  • I swear part of that sounds like a piece of Legend of Zelda.

Not to bad, thanks for posting it

  • Good. Really. Sorry for what?!?!

  • that sounds COOL ! which voices and contolls are set for this ?

  • i'll do the same, thanks

  • do you have the tabs? i would like to have thems i want to play that song

  • I have no tabs, I played the track again and again and again, part after part after part, trying to figure out each chord. It took some time and effort but it's a cool piece to play, imo.

  • Sorry for guitar playing??? You rocks dude :)) !!!!

  • Thanks! But I'm only using 2 fingers of my left hand on the guitar... lol... I should replay it someday, it would be much better now that I've spent some more hours practicing my solo technique.

  • I love it!

  • Cool. I like the guitar added. Im learning to play guitar, Im a beginner, and I play the keybaords, so now I know what it looks like if I make one of these videos and play both instruments... Great Job.

  • awesome this ladyhawke music opening!!!

  • Lol, at around 1:00 the tunes sound like the ones in the games of Zelda :) Well played mate! Nice gear!

  • Very well played. // Hogge69

  • Hi Trevor001, I've got a Fantom X6 and wondered if the string sounds are the patches installed in the FX or are they from a SRX board? Again great tune and lovely playing keep it up.

  • It's the internal Strings patch, from the F bank I think. It's called something like "X Full Strings" if I remember well.

  • I've looked every where for this songsice the frist time I heard it on Ladyhawke , now it's coming back, ittakes you away to a magical place, and lets you sore, thank you from my heat and soul for sharring this work of art with us

  • You have rekindled my interest in the Ladyhawke theme. Nice work, buddy!

  • AWESOME!!! Ladyhawke is one of my all time favorite movies and you did a masterful job!!

  • Precisation: With "300" I mean the recent movie about Greek warriors. And of course it used rock (hard rock precisely) for only small parts of the movie.

  • Nice! Of course imitating legendary guitarist Ian Bairnson is difficult. Good techique on keyboard. Ladyhawke is one of the most underestimated fantasy movies, see for instance imdb, they say rock music doesn't go with middleage. Yet as Powell says usual "classical" music is anyway out of date being of 1800s. While Powell wrote also Gregorian and middle-age music x the movie. "300" is another example where rock went well with a past imaginary.

  • Fantastic!!!! This is inspirational!!!!Just purchased an X6!!!! Looking forward to making some videos!!!!

  • verry good

  • Ooh, sweet! I wish I could play it like that. Well, haha. First I need to learn how to play some instruments.

You did a great job. Ladyhawke sure is a classic.

  • from 0041 to 0044 change of chords I love it

  • You sound wonderful! Awesome!
