@AMAHFJDHFMAM It's fine outdoors, people have been installing Hunter Originals outside for decades and they've outlasted so called "Outdoor fans"...I have however since put plastic blades on it

You really need to replace it with craftmade porch fan or other outdoor fan. This fan does not look like outdoor fan.
