The storyline is awful, there're so many thinks that don't make sense. A machine that came from somewhere to destroy humanity by turning them into mutants, and a group of people that follow a religious man that has a book with the key to destroy the machine. A bad movie with an awesome soundtrack, such an awesome soundtrack wasted in this movie to try to make it look epic. I can't deny this movie is entertaining but is is not worth paying for watching it.

And most of them wouldn't know a decent movie if it came up and bit them in the rectal area. This is a genre movie with a unique visual style and a cast of usual supporting actors given a chance to shine. Quality entertainment here.

I remember seeing Ron Perlman on the news talking about this movie when I watched the interview I thought the movie was about mutant saviors coming to save humanity from their stupidity but when I finally seen the movie I was like ... woa.. WWII combat and fucking mutants with prototype like arm bladesspilling the innards out of humans, sicktastic, sword play and gunplay was a win for me, and the actors superb 100 points for original plot and 100 points for action though the end
good film! classic B-Movie!!! definitely not something to miss! the acting was not terrible, the CGI was like a classic from the 70's or 80's, the story was good, and the deliverance of the movie itself was fantastic!! the only disappointing thing was that (if anyone else agrees, please 'like this comment') the Director's Cut of the movie was not as good as the regular, theatrical cut.

@WhyySooSeriouus I liked it, it's storyline sucked, Many things aren't explained.
But I loved the science fiction in it, it's the way it's a industrial-armageddon sort of Scifi, it gives a lot to mind, or atleast a diffrent sort than Star Trek did. I actually find the science in this more realistic than Startrek or any such Sci-Fi films. Not that I think it would be possible to make a flying steam train :P

Yes, this movie was farrrr from original or creative and I agree with critics. First of all, I hoped it would be much longer. Second, 2 female characters were the only persons who could fight. The whole atmosphere reminded me other films - The Chronicles of Riddick, Resident Evil franchise and A Sound of Thunder plus some video games. Anyway Thomas Jane, Devon Aoki, Ron Perlman and Anna Walton did a good job.
Pandorum was much better but this one was watchable too

The storyline is awful, there're so many thinks that don't make sense. A machine that came from somewhere to destroy humanity by turning them into mutants, and a group of people that follow a religious man that has a book with the key to destroy the machine. A bad movie with an awesome soundtrack, such an awesome soundtrack wasted in this movie to try to make it look epic. I can't deny this movie is entertaining but is is not worth paying for watching it.

I remember seeing Ron Perlman on the news talking about this movie when I watched the interview I thought the movie was about mutant saviors coming to save humanity from their stupidity but when I finally seen the movie I was like ... woa.. WWII combat and fucking mutants with prototype like arm bladesspilling the innards out of humans, sicktastic, sword play and gunplay was a win for me, and the actors superb 100 points for original plot and 100 points for action though the end

good film! classic B-Movie!!! definitely not something to miss! the acting was not terrible, the CGI was like a classic from the 70's or 80's, the story was good, and the deliverance of the movie itself was fantastic!! the only disappointing thing was that (if anyone else agrees, please 'like this comment') the Director's Cut of the movie was not as good as the regular, theatrical cut.

But I loved the science fiction in it, it's the way it's a industrial-armageddon sort of Scifi, it gives a lot to mind, or atleast a diffrent sort than Star Trek did. I actually find the science in this more realistic than Startrek or any such Sci-Fi films. Not that I think it would be possible to make a flying steam train :P

Yes, this movie was farrrr from original or creative and I agree with critics. First of all, I hoped it would be much longer. Second, 2 female characters were the only persons who could fight. The whole atmosphere reminded me other films - The Chronicles of Riddick, Resident Evil franchise and A Sound of Thunder plus some video games. Anyway Thomas Jane, Devon Aoki, Ron Perlman and Anna Walton did a good job.
Pandorum was much better but this one was watchable too
