  • @lesather Les Mis is a French musical. It's creators are French and put it on in France before importing it to London.

  • SO fabulous! Thank you so much for this video and the song,,, hilarious! Greetings from London's West End!

  • Excelente!

  • I love this except for one thing....you included pics from Les Mis, which as you can gather from the title, is a FRENCH musical....the point is still there, but it is not a BRITISH import play. the really frightning thing is how big the 'phantom's' mouth looks at 0:19-0:21

  • The subject matter is French, but the musical was produced in London by Camron Mackintosh in 1985 and transfered to Broadway in 1987. By your reasoning "Phantom of the Opera" would be a French musical, not British or "Miss Saigon" would be Vietnamese.

  • @lesather ooooohhhh*facepalms self, thinking of how stupid she is* thank you for clearing that up for me....

  • @lesather But Les Mis was originally made by the french composer and playrights Boubil and Schonberg (sp) so was Miss Saigon in fact. They may have been in London before they were in broadway but Les Mis was definitely in france first. Phantom of the Opera was written by Andrew Lloyd Webber who is briitish and therefore is originally from london. I think a show is from wherever the person who wrote it is from

  • Ha! My Fair Lady. <3

    Really funny! ^^

  • Well everything pre-2000's atleast.

  • lmfaooo culturally orgasmic XD

  • its true! hahahahaha

  • Great job!

Wondering though...where did you get the Les Mis clips?

  • that is Michael at 1:41! What is he doing? What is that from?

  • That entire segment of Michael & Andrew Lloyd Webber posing for pictures was from ABC's newsmagazine "20/20" (with Barbara Walters & Hugh Downs) look at the premiere of "Phantom of the Opera" on Broadway back in 1988. They were talking about the three shows Webber had on Broadway at the time; "Phantom", "Starlight Express", and "Cats".

  • wow! thanks! he looks great!
