Thing is, Josh and Nick were playing together since they were thirteen. They were like brothers, so it must have been the hardest decision for Josh to make - an at the same time one of the easiest, Nick must have been a real handful for him to kick his ass out. I think there was some resentment for Nick with Josh being King of the castle of Queens. Thats why he had to get naked an shit, cos he wernt getting enough attention. If his attitude didnt suck he'd still have a place in the band. Homme#1

Note: the LATE Bill Hicks. Yea, drugs are fun. but you cant sustain a career on them. Nick DID contribute to the group dynamic. The man wrote bass lines as though they were guitar riffs, he's a badass bassist. But his desperate attitude to BE rock n roll all the fuckin time is what killed it for him. An now he's dropped the bass, and is attempting to be lead in Mondo, which isn't even all that great. Josh writes incredible music, with melodies, harmonies and dirty riffs. He's got all the goods.
