I just got a brand new red Rant from ebay for $35! Very nice. I had a Rumor 1 before and it broke or stopped working 3 times. I'm not sure if the Rumor 2 is the same way but I take care of my phones and the Rumor 1 was JUNK. I'm not a huge fan of the one-touch interface but It's helpful at times. I don't use web so idk about that but messaging on the rant is nice. In my opinion... Rant wins.

I can get a rumor 2 for 80 bucks (Excellent-Condition), Exclaim for 125 bucks (Very good-Condition), Moto Q or Moto Q9c for 100-105 (Excellent condition). I want a phone that is good for texting, doesn't need data plan (I'm on my parents right now).

Just getting a used phones online and activating it. Would it be smart choice to get the exclaim, moto Q/Q9c or the Rumor 2. I heard a lot of bad stuff about the Rumor and Q. Should I go for the exclaim?

Don't use the stock browser on the Rumor 2. Use Opera Mini. It is hundreds time faster and displays pages much better.

Rant has this glitch where the screen turns white and you have to pay to get it fixed...:) and i have the rumor 2 as of rite now..but when a fight happens im phucked because i cant record and the camera on the rumor 2 sux such major ass but otherwize good for teens that like to text ..really easy to get used to and use

i think im getting the origional rumor which does basicly the same as the rumor 2 but has video which i could see myself using alot more then number keys and a smiley face button. plus i like the blue and black colours and the look of the origional rumor. im a lefty so i dont really like the way the rant slides plus i dont like the design as much. thats just my oppinion.

A main reason I took the Rumor is the micro sd slot is on the side of the phone, You dont have to remove the battery to swap out sd cards. I have an 8 gig card that I got at walmart for 25 bucks and the phone is my primary mp3 player.

Also, I got the phone last week at Radioshack for 20 bucks out the door, no mail-in rebates or anything, 20 bucks flat

Rumor 2 also has NFL Mobile. But this is a tough call because if u get the rant, u can put music from your PC to your rant and the rant has wireless internet. As for Rumor 2 you also get good features and the back of the phone is nice. But I don't know I'm gonna think about it.
