They are all great dancers Julianne, Mark and Derek are my personal favorites, but these four are stunning here  i hope to see them win eventually, well Alec has won, but Karina, Edtya and Louis haven't!

Its hard to compare dancers in this context because most of the dances are choreographed in a day. Julianne incorporates a lot of theatrics in her dancing which is necessary to sell it to a non dancing audience. Mark is just flash and speed. Karina has a high quality of movement and depth in her dancing. I recognize a lot of Karina's 'styling' in Julianne's dancing.

@hokiepiratejedi I agree with you and with @bakatais as well. Mark, Derek and Julianne appeal to an audience who don't worry about technique and want to be entertained. Because they are versatile, they "relate" to audiences better. But when it comes to latin dancing, Karina definitely is a step above the female dancers. Without having to draw people to charm or acrobatics, her movement and presence on the dance floor is felt.

They are both amazing but Karina is the most efficient dancer on that show. You may enjoy Edyta more, that's cool but she isn't better than Karina.  No female pro on that show is.

Karina has accomplished more than any other female pro on the show in world dancing competitions. She managed to rank 2nd on the world in the highest division. None of the female pros even came close to that. Julianne never competed in the pros divisions to begin with.

Karina's considered a legend in the latin ballroom world. She and Louis Van Amstel are a league above the other pros. They even trained some of them like Chelsie.

I saw almost all of her videos with Slavik, but I still like Julianne's dancing more. I think Julianne and Mark are much more fun to watch than Karina and Louis Van Amstel. Maybe I just don't know what to look for because I'm not a professional judge. I just think Mark and Julianne are amazing dancers.

Yes, Mark and Julianne are indeed amazing dancers and are very flashy and fun to watch, but they aren't at Karina's or Louis's standard in technique (& achievements). It all boils down to preferences I guess.

I think Julianne is the 2nd best female pro in the show after Karina. I think she's overall more versatile than Karina as she's good in other styles. Karina still beats her in latin. Karina had the potential to rank no.1 on the world and many even argue that she was indeed the best.

@bakatais I'm glad that you mentioned that. Julianne was the under-21 world latin champion--it's a HUGE achievement for her age but it is still Junior Blackpool. Karina competed in the Professional category. I admire Julianne on the dance floor but it's a shame that people slam the other dancers, especially Karina because they are not as "great" as her. Technically, I find Karina's presence a stand out. If you saw "Maneater" she had a solo there and she owned the dance floor.

I just can't get over how good Karina is. 2:54 to 2:59 was magical. You can see the difference in execution between Karina and Edyta. Edyta is an amazing dancer, but Karina is just ridiculously good.
