  • Malt Liquor: It isn't just for breakfast anymore!

  • can't be from the 70's Galaga wasn't out until 1981

  • Isn't malt liquor usually marketed to Blacks? Cheap strong beer in 40 ounce bottles is for everyone and should be advertised accordingly.

  • Love the hair Tommy!

  • Aw man, did that bull havta ruin a perfectly good Galaga game?

  • lol, that bull destroyed more walls than a wrecking ball

  • hahaha, Schlitz Wrecking Company LTD.

  • Wasn't that Disco Stu playing the pinball machine?

  • @kevinhjoy why does that name sound so familiar?

  • I loved their ads with the bull charging through the wall at the end--though I did not remember this one.

  • This would never happen. I bet that bull wasn't even of legal drinking age at the time.

  • The one guy looks like Eddie Money

  • I remember this commercial. Saw it around '80 or '81--age 6 or 7. It was my intro to AWB. I had yet to make the connection that these white guys were the same guys that did "Pick Up the Pieces." You know you GOTTA have soul to do a Schlitz Malt Liquor commercial. :-)

  • was that a real bull yay!!!!!!!!

  • Should now do an ad for Red Bull. Rocky`s drumming solo in the other video is an extreme sport, you guys might get some sponsorship....

  • Poor video game :(

  • I saw this commercial a couple of times. It played during pro football games on Sunday afternoon. Dale

  • Great ad - thanks for posting - I recall other bands doing this type of ad. Too bad that SML of the 70's was a vile concoction. Maybe if their beer had been as good as thier ads, they wouldn't have went under!

  • This commercial must have been around a long time because I remember having this on videotape from sometime in the early 80s.

  • Hail Bull

  • Tommy James and the Shondells are one of my favorites from the 60s. Never saw this commercial on tv. Glad you posted it. Also love AWB from the 70s.
