my dad worked there on the 96th floor, i was at school when he called mom. my uncle fetched me in the school. When i was home dad called me telling how much they love me. i was crying. thene the phone rang, i thought it was dad again...but it was mom telling me that she's also trapped. The fuel shot down elevator shafts causing explosions .The planes were going from Boston to LA which is a pretty long flight so they were loaded with jet fuel since obviously they went from Boston to New York instead. Jet fuel is dangerous stuff that will cause explosions. Pilots fly around in circles and burn fuel before making risky emergency landings for a reason.

Man... I remember being in a hotel room in Georgia on this day. I was playing my Gameboy Advance. Next thing I know, my dad looked over at me, and said "Son... come look at this." Of course being the cool kid in the family I usually never watch the news. But I could tell by the tone in my dad's voice, that something was wrong. And as soon as I looked at the screen on the news... my heart shattered. It was a mortifying sight. And the scene I saw... was the plane collision with the north tower...

The older I get the harder it is to watch 9/11 videos. I was 16 on 9/11 and was just too young to really grasp the impact of the attacks. I understood it was a major event but the impact on the families of the victims just didn't register with me.
Now that I'm 26 and I have a wife and baby daughter, it really hits me hard when I watch videos like this. I think of how terrible it must have been for them to sit there in the burning towers and think that they'll never see their kids grow up.
I can't even stand to watch this stuff it just makes me so sad to see families go through these hard times… R.I.P to every one who died, God loves you…

I am lucky, I knew no one that was physically affected by this. I cannot begin to imagine what the families must have gone through. Losing a loved one to old age/natural causes is one thing. The fuel shot down elevator shafts causing explosions .The planes were going from Boston to LA which is a pretty long flight so they were loaded with jet fuel since obviously they went from Boston to New York instead. Jet fuel is dangerous stuff that will cause explosions. Pilots fly around in circles and burn fuel before making risky emergency landings for a reason.

The older I get the harder it is to watch 9/11 videos. I was 16 on 9/11 and was just too young to really grasp the impact of the attacks. I understood it was a major event but the impact on the families of the victims just didn't register with me.
Now that I'm 26 and I have a wife and baby daughter, it really hits me hard when I watch videos like this. I think of how terrible it must have been for them to sit there in the burning towers and think that they'll never see their kids grow up.
