@MrPaulpsg Amen to that dude. Had I not seen the movie" Sliver " and bought the soundtrack which contains this song, I would have missed this beautiful, yet haunting arrangment. Save a seat for me too!
@sputnik9453 if you like the track my friend it is off an album called blue lines, i highly recommend it and it wont be expensive these days, anything by massive attack is a wonderful experience, ive been blessed to see them live, so enjoy, and happy days to you
jesus ...lady gaga is piece of shit compare to this...her only goal is to get famous and get money,(making songs for commercial needs)...patetic ,that is not a real music artist!
No, that's not true. 2000 and 2001 rode on the coattails of the 1990s so they were decent. But you're right, nothing beats the real thing..."Take me home."
Of all the songs ever written, this represents most closely how I see life. just loop it, youll never get bored of it, just goes deeper with the years
What a song! It takes me back to early 90's and still remember it totally changed the way I felt music. 18 years later it still sounds like the very first time...
I first heard this at the end of 1990 when getting over a broken heart and it chilled me out, love watching it on yt and listening to it in full on the radio
Actually, this is one of my favourite tunes by MA that I know of. I acquired Mezzanine second-hand ages ago, and listened to stuff on another album, but none ever really struck a chord with me.
Interestingly, I just recently discovered The Cocteau Twins, many of whose tunes I really like, and the tune By MA that Elizabeth Fraser sings on (Teardrop), I also like. Protection's nice.
In between my usual "open source" electronica fare, I should investigate MA's other work.
1991, what a year! No mobile, no internet, still some innocence in the air... and that year would change my life forerver. Great hit, thanks for sharing Macarena!

Definitely one for the soundtrack to sex, try also Neneh Cherry "Move with me" and Depeche Mode "World in my eyes"
