yeah i know.. but that's because martin is using a capo. they are still tuned to d flat.. they are "tuned" to e flat.

they are capoed to e flat.

talked to the blg guitar tech for an hour and a half before the concert. They tune to open d live but open e on the recording. they tune down live so its easier on martins voice.

the great escape is also d flat capoed on the second fret making it d sharp, a semi-tone lower than the recording...

I do play guitar, my friend. I even learned that solo by ear. Like I said, I love this song, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with Paul's solo. I'm talking about the fangirls who were screaming, "THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!" as if it were the greatest thing they had ever seen.
