I remember when channel 4 advertised this as a serious documentary and it was huge news, i reckon half the country tuned in to watch what they thought was going to be some groundbreaking programme and then saw this. Epic. The best thing was on richard & judy the next day they hadnt got the joke and were treating it seriously and said something like "could your partner be a peadophile? did they get annoyed if they couldnt watch the brass eye documentary last night?" it was amazing.

@LethalJizzle The best bit wasn't the show itself; it was the absolute shit-storm in the media the next day. I was only 14 at the time, but I remember being in hysterics all the way to school and for several hours after I arrived.

Mind you, it wasn't the first time that Brasseye had caused questions to be asked in the House of Commons - anyone remember 'Cake' and David Amess? He wasn't the sharpest knife in the Tory drawer!
