I've had the misfortune to see him play live, I don't like him, he's a copy cat, no originality. You ask why do the Irish have to knock? I only knock arrogant, up their arse types and he's one, he a legend in his own lunch time, no more. A future great of irish music he certainly is not. he shot his musical load a long time ago I'm afraid.
George is "mostly" playing his own gigs, with his own music. But in rare cases he plays with these guys, also known from The Black Donnellys, which play some up tempo traditional irish music.
I was on that flight too, ya him and his mate were a bit loud and drunk! but so what? Irish people are famous for being pissed!! Come on, up the north-side and up the Ra!! He has a right to act loud in public, he's famous for christ sakes!!!

I sat behind this idiot on a five hour flight. The man is a fraud, he spent the whole journey shouting about how "famous" he was and beig a general tosser. He was asked about five times by the airline staff to be quite even before the plane took off. George if you want to act the twat in public at least have some talent to back up your dick-head obnoxious behavior.
i was on that plane to cyprus as well and that chap was nothing but nice,very down to earth and never put on the superstar attitude.. was just having a laugh gettin in the holiday mood.. you should of went to malta you boring cunt
