  • lol Charging hands-down. Anyone can level someone when they take a jump into them

  • 0:45 look at the kids ankles, straight up bender

  • Clean hit. Kid had his head down. Zach tried to jump around the hit and failed. This is the reasoning for one player leaving his feet.

  • how old are these guys?

  • @TheEthockey high school

  • This is Joe Stejskal.. if you use your eyes to watch the video you'll see him stop skating squat and hit Zach, the force casuing him to take air, which means clean hit (I should know I was sitting on the ice for GR). Joe went on to play at Dartmouth. For all you Canadians I find it ironic that Joe was drafted by the Canadians and is now playing in their minor system and it's just a matter of time until he is called up. Props to Zach Joe isn't small

  • @GrockEr0709... That hit left a hell of a bruise on my left leg haha

  • good hard clean hit, kid gets right back up into the play and no fighting. great hard played game right there

  • @glasspuppyj136 ...not really clean but ok (check hockey rules on charging)

  • @MNwildGUY20 kids got his head down and hes playin varsity hockey what do you expect? thats not charging thats a good clean open ice hit that was done perfectly. I ref games and i would not call that a penalty

  • @glasspuppyj136 - look at the keep leap of the ice! You can't honestly tell me that you wouldn't make a call on that? Head down or not, last time I checked, if you leave the ice on a check, it's charging

  • @MNwildGUY20 no i cant actually its a big hit and its not enough to get a penalty. theres nothing wrong with that hit there was no targetting of the head or an elbow either

  • no surprise it's in minnesota

  • thats how hockey is played in northern mn...612er couldnt handle it

  • charging + left his feet lol

  • Humans can fly?!

  • Idiot should have got a penalty he left his feet

  • this is pretty bush league stuff compared to up in ontario

  • nice hit. our team (south saint paul) boys suck, and never make it into the state finals. hope they will this year but dought it. our girls get to state tho and will this year to.

  • the kid who got hit was in 9th grade and weight a good 120 lbs.. no bending knees or anything is going to help him there

  • Haha this is aaa !! No wonder us canadians fucking kill you guys

  • @datsyuk08 Us Canadians? So what team do you play for?

  • gongshow

  • @SCripshow4 Thats not a gongshow you fucking idiot

  • well at least he took it like a man. He not only dumped the puck when he realized he was going to get hit, but he sprang up right after it. That shows character. That's probably a huge reason this kid is playing college hockey.

  • @slapshot445 the kid who gave the hit is playing college hockey. the kid who got plowed isn't.

  • @thewhitewhale11 actually zack king is playing college hockey

  • @slapshot445 haha pardon my ignorance i had no idea. where's he at?

  • @thewhitewhale11 haha actually i was thinking of zach may not zack king, as far as i know this kid played some juniors but I dont know where he is at currently. he might have hung them up for all i know, haha my bad.

  • i remember when a kid on my team took a hit like that ended in a bench clearing fight.

  • stejskal is a beast

  • you guys are a bunch of bush-league suckers.... he CLEARLY left his feet. try that ish on one of my teammates and i'll throw you over the glass ya chumps.

  • @PuckMyLife45 these kids play hockey at a ahl level in high school. lets see you dangle / skate with any of these KIDS. HE LEFT HIS FEET AFTER CONTACT.

  • No avoiding that one haha

  • i thought that was a good hit... he KINDA jumped into it but IF i was the ref I woulda def called that clean

  • Pick your head up!

  • Wait... that was televised? They barely even say that we have a game on the announcements at my school. haha. well that's the south for ya

  • Love the jump

  • charging

  • @TheiEmmyCrew he wasnt taking any strides when he came into the camera

  • @TheiEmmyCrew how is it charging if his feet were planted?

  • @ryerson98 His feet left the ice. By USA Hockey rules, that's charging.

  • @madmananarchist watch the slow motion his feet left the ice from the collision, he didn't jump into the guy

  • wow you guys have really nice ice rinks for high school hockey

  • @JustAnotherDay03

its the state tournament. they played at excell energy center

  • @lacrossekidd1 when i looked this up i just typed in high school hockey so i didnt know this was in minnesota

  • @JustAnotherDay03 haha I'm just givin you crap. sorry broski

  • @lacrossekidd1 ha its fine

  • The best part of the winter is the high school state tourney.

  • thats burnsville for ya!

  • kinger ur a monster!!!! hahahaha

  • kinda looks like he jumped into him.

  • Took it like a champ imo, right back up.

  • Is the CHL stronger than this?

  • @datsyuk134life fuck yah this is high school chl is 16-21.....there not kids like these guys are only 16-18..

  • @xtopshelfx chl is 16-19, not that different from high school 16-18

  • @datsyuk134life

    yes canada owns

  • Stejskal is going to play for Montreal in a few years! He played varsity for 4 years.

  • Thats a double Dion!!!!!

  • gets right back up

  • Lol way to jump, the kid recieving the hit shoulda hip checked him that woulda been worth like the 7 or 8 replays on this video

  • thats a clean hit.atleast his hands werent in his face or head

  • That away to take a hit Zack

  • he didn't leave his feet for the hit or anything...

  • atta boy. hats off to the taker. I know how you feel man. lol

  • @beaverdammer haha same here

  • notice how the kid who got rocked staightened up his legs just b4 the hit.....stay low kids and learn to absorb a hit.....got to give him props tho for pop'n up after that

  • he has guts to get up after that

  • I was at this game, we had a good team for a few years.

  • totally left his feet

  • Nice hit, glad to see the northern boys showin em hows it done

  • Stejskal didn't get interference, it was on Burnsville.

  • I don't see how that's an interference?

  • ya. he had the puck? must be high school rules or something, otherwise looked clean

  • hahaha tht was a nice hit! (I also liked the slow-mo commentary :)

  • he went in the air after he hit the burnsville player, that wasn't a penalty it was just a sick hit.

  • it was a penalty..

  • jumped high

  • shouldve been a penalty.. cant jump and hit him but still.. nice hit.

  • @psychofreak2626 what i was about to say

  • ok i'm gonna talk more about the hit instead of any of that bs kuz i'm from canada and we kick ass at hockey, but that check could have been called dirty other than interference. His two feet came way off the ground!

  • good for you.

  • its great to see my buddy zack king still getting views on youtube. I am a buddy of his and graduated with him from burnsville and it just cracks me up that this vid has gotten 112,800 views

  • too bad the AA rockford icemen can tie AAA Shattuck 2-2

  • that's cause you played the shitty shattuck team not the prep team...

  • hahaha you idiot . it wasnt the prep squad

  • minnesota is the best state for high school hockey. all you from michigan look up national rankings with 8 of the top 10 ranked teams from minneseota and 1 from michigan. AAA teams couldnt do crap to teams like Shattuck, Edina, or Holy Angels.

  • Shattuck is not considered a Minnesota team...

A team that recruits from Canada and USA does not show the skill level of Minnesota

  • How come Minnesota High school teams play them during the season then...? Mine did.

  • @hockey4life57 Really? I played AAA in chicago and we shit on shattuck. Hence why we won nationals and shattuck didnt.

  • the only reason michigan doesnt have good competition in high school is because all the best players play AAA or juniors they dont waste there time in high school hockey like sota

  • yeah right bout that, but still AA ranked players come out and the coachs are of the best

  • I'm from michigan and let me say that AAA is for rich kids not elite players....maybe witht the exception of Compuware.

  • thats not completely true the AAA teams are all good programs for the most part with good coaches with at least 3 or 4 really good programs in michigan

  • actually.. its because you guys dont have enough talent in each school district to have decent highschool hockey.. trust me . ive seen your guys highschool hockey .. and its absolutely pathetic.. therfor you guys only have AAA and prep clubs that recruit from all over the state (even country) and still would get raped internally by our highschools. from a town of 5500 people . that doesnt recruit . you guys are cute.

  • it looks like he left his feet a little bit but not much, i could be wrong im not sure.

  • even the best get hit. Kinger, you took a good hit and you got back up and kept playing. That's tuff. In hockey you have to give your hits and take your hits. headz up.

  • alright i would like to see any of you go up against joe in hockey he would fuckin kill you he has one of the hardest slap shots ive seen for a high school player could of went to any college but went to dartmouth for school he was drafted and hes fuckin huge id like to see you TRY to get by him he would light up your ass!

  • Michigan?MICHIGAN YOU SAY!?try Minnesota,Michigan can't snif Minnesota's jock when it comes to High school hockey.

  • And you guys can't sniff are assholes when it comes to football

  • @jrgordon757 the fucking NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE doesnt hold a candle to Minnesota High School Hockey

  • Michigan will wreck minnesota

  • Comment removed

  • @lacore1988 you got some serious pride issues.. Nobody is bashing M hockey calm down.. If kids in other states actually played for their high schools they would be very good too. The two kids on usa world junior Kreider and Bourque are the same age from the same town.. Went to 2 diff hs. Also bourque's older brother played Hs with Yandle from the coyotes, Brian Boyle from the Rangers and Bogasian was a freshman on that team. Aslo the captains at Bu and BC.

  • please learn something. kids in other states dont play for their highschools because the level of play is very low and intensity level is that of which doesnt even compare to the MSHSL. So the very few skilled players they do have, need to play AAA or recruited by prep schools if they want to make it somewhere.. where as here , players dont need to leave home for development. our public highschools are a higher level then most private schools. and wow 2 kids from the same town ?? no way man .

  • I dont know about other States but in Michigan theres a lot of intensity at the High School level. Some athletes also get recruited out of HS. (Abdelkader?)

  • man i wish i could live in michigan.

    tennesse high school hockey sucks.

the refs around here would call a check like that.

and half the kids are scared to hit like that in my league.

  • alright to kill all the arguments i am zack king the guy who got hit. a kid at my school made the video for gods knows what reason, i give joe props on the hit he caught me with my head down simple as that, there was some knee to knee contact as you can see from the video, but other then that it wasn't as bad as it looks. that's how joe plays and that took him places props again to him he's doing what every high school hockey player wants to do play D1 puck, thanks for checking out the video.

  • damn kinger you got laid the fuck out haha i remember that game dude

  • i wish my high school hockey had crowds like this

  • Nice hit. Left his feet though. Should of been a penalty. Still...kaboom.

  • no he didn't leave them untill after the hit that is not a penalty you need to watch closer

  • thats my cousin he could of went to any wcha school and he chose dartmouth because its a 4 point school im with him right now im from hibbing my name is ryan johnson

  • i have played tennis with ur bro adam if he is your brother

  • I was at that game. That hit was SICK!!!! Nothing like Minnesota high school hockey.

  • in steijskal freshmen year in college he broke a guys leg

  • kid that rocked him is joe stejyskal...plays at datrmouth now

  • zack kings the shittttt! is that why he plays like a champp? jealousy disease get well sooon (: stop hating on burnsville cause were the bosss!

  • wow what a charge

  • look at the air time for the guy in the orange

  • thats a freakin charging penalty

  • haha, ya the defender got like 2 feet of air

  • Wow, completely destroyed. Caught him with his head down too. I guess this is a good example why you should keep your head up.

  • laid out

  • laid out your mother yes really enjoyed it

  • that guy jumped that shoulda been a penalty

  • I agree. Hard hit that was worth watching, but those b.s cheap shots where a guy leaves his feet should be a game misconduct.

  • big hit!

  • minnesota aint got shit on BC hockey

  • true that!!!

    except better turnouts lol

  • word! bud

  • he is bigger and taller than that other kid, he charged him, and he left his feet when before he even hit him, that is not legal sir.

  • that was the biggest charge ever

  • how was it a charge he didnt even have his feet moving

  • Burnsville sucks. :) We ACTUALLY get people to show the Blaze on TV? But I don't see how Burnsville got the interference call. Should have been Grand Rapids? Correct me if I am wrong about the penalty call..

  • king is prolly the toughest kid in state.hes taken bigger hits then that. and he's just good .call him a pussy if you want, he could kick your ass any day

  • You guys are all niggers... ive been playing hockey for atleast 12 years now and i will fuck you all up!!!!! that was FO-SHO an illegal hit he jumped off the ice and hit the nigger... now stop fucking arguing before i lynch your fucking nigger asses

  • i bet you suck dick at hockey faggot, burnsville would rape your shit if you came up here youd be on jr gold b or u16, fuck you and zach king would burn your ass on the ice ... go blaze

  • lol that was charging

  • He left his feet and went higher than the kid he hit. Thats where the pently was. No interference

  • where is this, we get like 4 people out to our hockey games.

  • xcel energy center where the Wild play...it holds a tad more than 4.

  • minnesota the state of hockey, highschhol games get nearly the whole school to go and if you make it to the state tourney then you get about 18,000 people at the game and its broadcasted on tv

  • the kid doing the hitting left his feeet more than the kid who got hit cheap

  • see that hit thats plain sad and funny

  • Obvious charge. He was up a foot when he made contact.

  • legal, hard hit...pretty nice, but i dont think it was quite as hard as it looked...it looked pretty violent at first but in the slow mo it doesnt look quite as good...

props to the kid who got hit for gettin right back up...kids got some guts

  • not a legal hit at alll...he left his feet

  • Nothing wrong with that hit. Both teams had touched the puck since the check, and neither referee put their hand up. Commentators were talking about an interference call after that hit...who won?; looked like a game to watch

  • tommydogtv is a bitch for sureee

  • kinger is my god damn boy!

and it was interference on burnsville dipshits

  • did anyone else notice the bender status

  • he got right back up though so you gotta give him some respect

  • um zach4life, learn how to spell please, this guy is weak. i would lay him out any day of the week.

  • damn thats rediculous!

  • Youre right. He doesn't always leave his feet, but he goes out of his way to try and make a hit. And yes I did play against them that year. I played for Apple Valley, we went up to GR and we won and shut them out, which is usually a pretty impressive stat. Thats why I couldn't believe they made the finals. Im not disagreeing that they don't have talent, but they didn't have Miskovich and Goligoski in 04-05.

  • I have played against both of these kids several times and they both leave their feet when they hit someone. I can understand it out of Zach just because he is about 5'5'', but Stesjkal? He is like 6'3''. He shouldn't need to hand out a dirty hit to make someone feel it. This was a sick game though. Couldn't believe GR made it to the final.

  • stesjkal does not leave his feet everytime he hits. that was a questionable one but over he is not known for that.. you must not have played him.. also you couldnt believe GR made the finals? they have always had top talent . pat white? and in the past decade theres countless names .. miskovich.. goligoski ..ect... stick with ur soccer.

  • people probllyalready said it but ya he left his feet and thats a charge so ya illegal hit so technically not that nice!

  • yjhytjjhgd

  • lmao so dirty...

  • left his feet on the check, thats a charge...

MN High school hockey is great, but the best players are in juniors by their senior year

  • anyone ever heard of shattuck high, they kill canadian teams every year. Teams like edina, holy angels and hill murray beat shattuck. Minnesota is the best hockey on this continent

  • Shattuck is ridiculous. When some of your alumni are Sidney Crosby, Ryan Malone, Zach Parise, Jonathon Toews, Angelo Esposito, Drew Stafford, Kyle Okposo, Jack Johnson -- hell that'd be a decent first and second NHL line.

  • LOL!!! Except for the small inconvenience that a large number of the best players at Shattuck are Canadians. That and the fact that a lot of the Canadian teams they play are a year younger.

  • Except of course that Shattuck's best players are often Canadian.

  • read my comment, i said that many MN HS teams beat shattuck

  • until i see it happen i hold my case...minnesota has all around better hockey than ontario

  • i know that dip shit. except i would guess higher than 51percent... if your 2 dence to comprehend what i was saying than i wouldnt say any further shit.. also were we talking about the olympics? didnt think so.

  • exactly...if minnesota and ontario had a tournament, a team like edina or roseau would destroy a bunch of natives on ice.

  • oh god, you have noooo fucking clue what you are saying.

  • Or jefferson..canada has nothing on MN hockey anymore

  • you probably have no idea about minnesota high school hockey u just think canada is better because of reputation.. heard of Edina high school? if you havent you shouldnt talk

  • did you know that 51% of the NHL players are Canadians? if you havent dont talk

  • the oakville blades from ontario would murk minnesota high school hockey

  • actually no minnesota can hang with canadian high school teams now they have just as many D-1 and NHL prospects per area in MN than there is in canada...and also u MI kids.. michigains level is SHIT compared to minnesota thats why yall gotta have AAA teams and elite teams cuz ur highschools suck so bad SHITS WEAK

  • hahaha how do these high schools get a stadium full of people, canadian high schools would murk these teams and dont get any audience

  • minnesota hockey would spank ontario hockey any day

  • keep dreaming. any canadian hockey team is beter then any american team
