Does anyone care to praise the officers for at least TRYING the less than lethal taser!? It appears they had 1) officer presence 2) verbal commands 3) tactical positioning 4) less lethal taser 5) K9 and 6) lethal force options. @Rnoboy01 No. They have to successfully defuse every situation, no matter the odds, either by gently lying the suspe- er doubtlessly innocent and well meaning citizen on his stomach and kindly applying the handcuffs, or shooting the weapon out of his hand. Also, whenever there's a K9 like this involved, they have to let it go first, even though they'll be criticized vehemently for it later should the dog be killed.
