  • These are really similar to Mexican Wedding cookies, except they usually call for pecans or walnuts. They must be yummy with the pine nuts! Must try them sometime.

  • Is the same recipe my grandmother uses but instead of pine nuts she uses walnut or pecans....and there are awesome is like u say their flakey and buttery....yum....;p

  • Laura I need your help. My boyfriend told me that he once in italy ate cookies, that were SUPER delicious and he can't forget them. The basic ingridient should be sth with coconut. Do you know what it could be ?

  • The way you say : HI GAYS I AM LAURA VITALI is just one in a million!

  • These are wonderful with Pine Nuts, yes. But there are variations on this theme from other Countries and Cultures using any number of nuts.

You can also with tasty success used Pistachios, Hazelnuts, Almonds, Walnuts, Pecans...lol, you get the idea, and all are equally delicious.

  • I know a recipe similar that uses walnuts instead of pine nuts

  • can you please do some valentines recipes?? :)

  • these are alot like the traditional Mexican cookies that are also typically served in weddings...my grandma always makes them for holidays though because all of our family loves them so much :) she makes tons of them!...except we use diffrent nuts, i dont know what they are called though...lol

  • I WANT TO TRY THIS WITH CASHEW NUTS =D

  • can you explain why you tell us to do certain things... like why you want to bake them either at the very top or the very bottom of the oven? wouldn't it cook more evenly if it's in the middle rack?

  • For people asking how she maintains her weight, the answer is actually obvious: MODERATION.

Moderation means you watch your serving size and calorie intake as to not overeat or eat more calories than you should (that is, more than what you burn).

If you live a very sedentary lifestyle (you don't move around or exercise much), you are not going to burn as many calories as someone who does.

So, be mindful of calories, and get up and exercise!

  • You rock!

  • @porkbunX0 exercise, probably..

  • could you use wallnuts instead?

  • @Oceanmanta lol, after she specifically said don't ask...too funny

  • @Oceanmanta i'm sure you can.

  • Did you spell pine nuts in Italian wrong? It should be pignoli.

  • adopt me pleasee !! i want to eat all your nyummmy nyummy cooking !!

  • Hey Laura instead of putting the dough in the fridge for an hour, can I just put in one egg? Please reply soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • love the nails btw :)

  • I'm worried that she might say "VITALEEEE" and snap her neck.

  • VALENTINE'S DAY MENU PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @Angelafire94 blender's are usually made for liquids so they have a different blade compared to a food processor, a blender churns/swirls were as a food processor slices & blitz's

  • @An

  • Wow they look good look almost like The lemon girlscout cookies,...yum yum

  • omg omg omg i love these so much and i never knew what they were THANK YOU i have got to make these

  • Seriously, I don't know the difference between a blender and a food processor...

    Any difference?? :P

  • @angelafire94

I recommend you watch this video

    youtube(dot)com/watch?v=dMfkWlDRisM

  • @angelafire94 Blenders tend to be more funnel shaped and that is more suited for blending with liquids or making smooth pastes. Processor are better for chopping into fine bits, and mixing. You can use them for the same things sometimes, but it might be taxing on the motor because you trying to make the machine do something its not meant to.

  • you need to get you're own TV show seriously

  • laura 1. how are you still skinny 2. you are stunning 3. i love you're work.

  • Hey Laura! Would you be able to put together a recipe on homemade condiments? (ie. mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup etc..) I've tried so many times to make mayonnaise at home but half way through it breaks up! It would be great to learn from you because your instructions are so clear!

  • LEAVE.HER.HUSBAND.ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >:P

  • thanks for another great video! but really, it sounds a little bit mean when you say "i don't want to hear that question". i think it would have been nicer if you said "please don't ask me that"

you seemed a bit angry at the audience :/

  • I love your recipes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE

  • My mother makes a similar cookie with walnuts. I'll have to give these a try. :)

  • i love that u r italion and u dont have an accent but wen u say italian ingrediants u do :)

  • @miacraft333 I actually love our Italian accent. Do you have a problem with that?

  • Anyone wondering if other nuts will work; yes they will. This is basically like what my grandmother always makes (she's german/austrian), except this uses pine nuts (which sounds awesome, Im gonna try it sometime instead) instead of almonds like we traditionally used. It's literally just butter, sugar, and ground nuts. Pecans are also really good. :)

  • @EgoSlayer *and flour. Oops, can't delete my comment to fix that. lol

  • I LOOVE pine nuts!

  • Can you show how to make pesto?

  • pine nuts are so expensive here in Saudi Arabia

  • @missnjoud okay?

  • @IMKINDASHY611 If you know it's not Laura's fault then why are you complaining to her? Complain to youtube or get adblockpro.

  • My Nana made them with ground up walnuts. i have to look up the recipe she gave me but i think it was 1 cup flour 1 cup 10x sugar vanilla or almond extract butter and ground walnuts and we did it the same way rolling in 10x sugar. She was 95 when she passed away in oct of 2010. X mas i try to make all the things she did. I miss her sooo bad and my pop pop ( 93 passed in 2005)

  • I love the dishes she makes

But omg her voice is SUPER annoying UGH

  • I feel like honey would go good with this recipe, somehow.

  • I am still waiting for your m&m cookies' recipe. ):

  • Can I substitute salty nuts for the pine nuts? ;) jk

  • @haexxchen she didn't add very much sugar when she mixed them, so I'd imagine the confectioners sugar balances it out.

  • Yay!

  • Everyone, Laura already made scones. The video is from last year: /watch?v=MlCNzKJbn_k&feature=plcp&context=C319c08fUDOEgsToPDskKTWWn2cIYK7qdUWJm5np1_

  • Pinoli no Pignoli

  • Hey I'm in England and we don't use a cup measurement how do what is a cup roughly in grams? <3

  • @samjoy59 it really depends in what you are measuring for dry engredients but for liquids, I think a cup is something between 200 and 250 ml I guess

  • @samjoy59 google is your best friend

  • @samjoy59 Its different for each product. So you should go and search online for measurements from cups to grams... I always have the same problem but there are good sites where you can find it.

  • Thats some expensive cookiereceipt . But I imagine them really tasty

I think the sugar at the end is too much but that really depends on taste.

I would rather have them plain so I really taste the cookies and avoid a shock by all the sugar.^^

  • This is the first video where I hear you specify "Fahrenheit" for the temperature...If only I had caught on to that last week before trying one of your recipes XD

  • @TheGodOfPegana i have said it many times

  • @TheGodOfPegana Well how did you bake them in Celcius? Unreal!

  • @montrealstars60 It wasn't this recipe. But yes even for that other recipe the temperature would have been crazy hot if it were in Celsius, hotter than what a regular oven can get. So I turned it up as high as I could and ended up with a disaster. But I've learned my lesson! =)

  • @TheGodOfPegana When you're not sure about the recipe, it's best you go on her website. She has all the written recipes. I always have to convert because my oven is in Celsius.

  • @TheGodOfPegana Well she doesnt say Farhrenheit that often, but when she says 350 i know its not Celcius^^

  • @TheGodOfPegana Its all good. I made one of the recipes and thought that maybe I heard it wrong lol. Then I remembered the measurements of cooking temps where I am are different to some other countries. Find a calculator on google or something to get it converted to what ever measurement your used to. That's what I did anyways.

  • @gimmiepb r u crazy
