For some time I have been making dream catchers, and read about them but never heard this story. Thanks.

i never really knew about the legend of the dreamcatcher. very interesting. i wanna try to make one with a feather and a shell and a crystal like in the story. just wondering, did it ever specify what kind of crystal the spider transformed into?

@metallichika I use mostly quartz crystals.. but it's your dream that you are weaving.. use a crystal that works for you. I've used many types.. depends on what energy I want the piece to have when finished.. I'd love to see it when you finish.. Blessings..

@Secretdesigncreation i was actually making one to give to someone. and for some reason, the first kind of stone/crystal that came to mind was lapis lazuli. im not sure if you have to use an actual crystal that are transluscent or if its okay to use an opaque semi precious stone.

thankyou so much... i just started making dream catchers yesterday... i knew that they meant more than ridding bad dreams... i just bought book about the seven directions and the dream weave and my friends mom invited me to make dream catchers which made me look on youtube for a how to video and instead i found this that speaks of the dream catcher and the seven directions ... now that is some real interconnectedness lol ! some things are just meant to be ( : thx for posting
