Revisited for Chloe's backpack. She does a good job showing it - haha! I have my eyes on the Ruffwear Palisades Pack. Like the idea of the bags releasing from the harness Saw that the REI pack got good reviews too. Will have to wait for the dividend... I remember your Vargo being replaced. Thanks again my friend.
Hate to bash you on this....but I fell asleep during this video......Please in post production....cut out dead time, try to be ready to talk about the subject and pack it up after your done talking about it, and get things in the view of the camera...etc. Even when using more then direct info (ie talking to the camera as if its another person). Other then that I have enjoyed your video's
@clinmo Glad you enjoy the videos. No bashing taken at all, everyone is entitled to post videos and this is one of my longer ones for my Auntie who was terminally ill and could not enjoy what she loves; the outdoors and my dog. That is why I left lots of dead space with my dog getting into the camera hah ha.
Very nice spot my friend :o)That's why they call it Beautiful British Columbia :o) I like the dogs back pack...hehe! I think you mean the Primus pot is Teflon coated ;o) It looks like a nice pot but I have way too many now...hehe! But it's a real nice set up :o) I'm still considering the hexagon but just can't decide yet :o)
@Ggreenvideos It is beautiful here! The dog pack is a bit lose on her but one pack smaller was too small. Still shopping for good one. Actually it is titanium coated "Primus Littech Trek Kettle Pot". The hexagon stove is nice but so is the Bush Buddy. I will be posting a quick video of the stove soon enough. ~A
Well done! You've matched-up your Vargo well with the Primus cook kit and alcohol stove - it cranks out the heat. Try spreading open the snap tab on the Vargo a bit for a tighter fit. It may bring the back wall in closer to fit the back tab. Also check to see that your panel hinges aren't bent. After multiple uses I inventory panels and hinges to make sure they all are aligned properly. The extreme heat does tend to torque the parts a bit - nothing a set of needle nose pliers can't fix.
@wawhiker I thought about cutting the snap tab wider and JBW a longer sheet in the back but I called Vargo and they told me to send it in for an exchange. Apparently they had a bad batch that was not caught before shipping. The Primus cook kit is not bad and I am happy I got it for wood stove use. I wish the GSIs would take well to open flame but it does not. ~A
What a nice video my friend, It is great to see your best friend out there with you and im sure she helped you finish that lunch...lol Thanks for sharing your day out with me as I enjoyed it very much............Tom
@1620416204 Thanks Tom! I gave her a little bit of food but only because she had to wait for me while filming. She needs to know that she carries her own food hah ha. ~A

@asharof Hi - Sorry I am not entirely sure where Gold Creek is but this is by Lynn Canyon off the Baden-Powell.
