I bought my first Fray CD from Isaac a couple of months before they got signed to Epic after they had played a couple songs at the church we both went to together, and after he gave it to me he was kind of joking around asking me if I'd like for them to sign it, and I was like, uh, yeah slow down there rock star. Look who feels stupid now. But he is a nice guy, I really hope they are all doing well. I don't think it's an easy life...

Well, Google was there for me when I wanted to know more information behind this song lol I'm glad I found this-I can surely share in the sentiments with past commentors. We all have had those questions, where were you when this happened and that but he WAS there (and i'm completely thinking right now of the infamous 'Footprints' poem.) I strongly believe, and much through my previous crap of a life for lack of better words, that when bad things happen-it's a result of sin. It's inevitable.
BUT He always gives us something to help us through it. We just have to open our eyes and see it. Music is definitely that facet of my life I run to for comfort. This song especially helps. For others it may be family or friends or art etc. So I wish I could just talk to Isaac about this haha
I love the fray SO much, and the song "you found me" is my favorite song from them. it's very powerful and sooo deep. it makes me feel very emotional, but at the same time, it helps me to realize a lot about my faith in God. I just can't stop listening to this song!! I LOVEEEE it !!!!! I wish I could get the chance to talk to Isaac! :D
I cannot speak in English very well .When I get a task. "Write about the infrastructure of your hometown in 150-180 words!" "Write about your little puppies in 10 words" then I'll screw with it cause it's impossible to write about these things. But when I got the task to write about my role-model... Lights up! And everything came out and my teacher said that this essay is more than an intermidiate-level essay. Anyhoo, I just wanted to say that THIS is why I wrote my essay about Isaac Slade.
wow. that's really all i can say is, wow. this is the best interview with isaac slade that i have ever seen. i really have no words (i know, corny!). isaac slade just summed up about the last four years of my life into one little part of an interview. THIS is what i mean when i say that the fray writes music about REAL things that happen to REAL pepole. they're so awesome, it hurts just to even think about it! isaac knows about how bad things and good things to happen to all kinds of people.
I love what Isaac had to say about everything. He's just amazing and your EXACTLY right! He does write about things that ACTUALLY happen and this IS really music! I lvoe this band and Isaac so much. This is beautiful, really.
Isaac is the real thing. An amazing human being. Even if he wasn't an incredible artist and musician, he would still be celebrated for his abundant generosity and good will.

i love him and that band so much.
i went to a concert not really knowing who they were, and it changed my lifee.
