  • What a great discovery. I love jazz being played on what i would consider non- traditional jazz instruments. My favorites are Ray Draper on tuba, Dorothy Ashby on harp, Julius Watkins on French Horn and even George Braith on his braithophone and Eric Dolphy playing bass clarinet. Now I add Art Van Damme to my list.

  • @smthaxter Hip!

  • I wish I heard this when I still had an accordion

  • White Jazz is so underrated!

  • @VonNashman I think jazz in general is underrated. My favorite jazz musicians who happen to be white are: Gerry Mulligan, Pepper Adams, Vince Guaraldi, Anita O'day, Dianne Schurr,Bill Evans, Red Rodney, and George Wallington. I hold all of them in high regard . Check them out if you have not already.

  • Jazz in general is underrated except for those in the know. I like Anita O'day, Gerry Mulligan, Pepper Adams, George Wallington, Vince Guaraldi, Buddy Rich, Bill Evans, Red Rodney, Frank Rosolino, Chet Baker. Check them out if you have not done so.

  • @MrMaymac I agree this is exceptional, it reminds me of monk's 'evidence'
