  • meyerhaus - I know of several people that recorded the SOSB concert, including Miami University. Just to add to the story though, two of the soloists (flute and tenor sax solo) in the SOSB rendition were classmates and pledge class members of Mike Cifuentes.

  • We are playing this piece tomorrow at Miami University - Middletown. God Bless and thank you.

  • Incredible! If you can, upload a video. I would love to see it played by the University.

  • It is actually the Southwest Ohio Symphonic Band, but David Shaffer is conducting. I won't be able to video it, but hopefully someone will. The SOSB is an arm of the University, but it is technically a community band. It is, however, a great community band.

  • Thank you for the info! I will be on the lookout to see if anyone captured it.

  • belive it or not, im no sir, my friend. just a teenager about to go off and enlist

  • Semper Fi Marines forever. the paintings are beautiful. God Bless Our Troops and Their Families

  • Well put sir!

  • Oh man, it´s so sad to know that all these young guy´s are dead. Fallen for their country, fought for a better world. I am speechless to see your engagement to make that those hereos will be never forgotten.

  • Thank you. Please check out the other videos listed aboveif you wish to learn more about the project. Currently it is on display at the Ohio Statehouse with plans to travel.

  • Simply amazing. I admire her dedication.

  • i miss you everyday kreueter. i swear in this week and i know i will see you again.

  • For those of you in the Columbus area, today (3/11/08) there is a great article about the memorial in the Metro section of The Columbus Dispatch. There are some great pictures in there as well.

  • I am glad you like it. I was at the studio last week where the paintings are currently at and saw the final painting including Ivy's portrait. They all look larger now that they are complete with the backgrounds. Anita did a great job an each one.

I will make sure Anita reads your response. Let myself or Anita know (website info in description to the right) if you would like to see them in person before they are installed at the state house in May.

    Thank you for your service.
