@TwilightVids4Life no they fired her because she wanted Delena to be a couple and to end the series. Alloy Entertainment wanted the series to be longer to make more money. So they fired L.J. Smith (IT'S L.J. YOU IMBECILE) and hired some "ghost writer" to string us along. If you were a true fan you would know that, and you would also know what the REAL author of the Series name was " L.J. (Lisa Jane) Smith... Not LG. -.- I for one am staying loyal to L.J. the original great mind of the series.

Elena was at first a conquest mission, but she quickly became much more than what he intended her to be. It's not like he's trying to force her to fall in love with him... he's just staying in someway connected to her.
Stefan isn't jealous of Damon and Elena's relationship. He even acknowledges in the clip that they're good friends. He's worried that his brother who has promised him an eternity of misery has fallen in love with his gf. Can you blame him?
