I like anything with airplanes but the beauty of time lapse is that it takes ordinary things we take for granted and makes them interesting again by showing them in a different light. Nice job :)
For sunsets/sunrises, so far I've just left it in full automatic with a film speed between 100 and 400 ISO. If it's going to be dark I use 400 ISO, open the aperture wide open and let the camera choose the shutter speed.
If you use a Mac, after downloading to iPhoto, if you select the "edit" button and then the "Enhance" button, it brightens the pictures, but I've just started doing that so I don't know how much it might help a sunset/sunrise :)

I tried some time lapse on a sunset and didn't have much success. How do you set your metering on your camera to adjust for the light changes?
