Do you have to pay the monthly fee for swirly mms even if your phone is jailbroken? I download the app and it keeps asking me for a liscense...what do i need to do to get it working on my iphone 3g

Swirly is a one time fee of like $10-14, i think. But MMS is going to be on the iPhone very soon anyway so i wouldn't buy it. Just upgrade to the 3.0 software on Wednesday.

A problem that shouldnt have been. AT&T had to of foreseen that people who pay to have a top of the line phone would want a technology that has been around for several years

They said the problem is that they have to enable MMS manually.. well, they've had since at very LEAST early March to start enabling accounts, because that's when 3.0 and MMS were announced. They should have started then, even though i would guess they knew MMS was coming since November.. maybe earlier. Idiots.

hey ive tried every single trick on the internet for swirly to work and it just dosent work. ppl were saying it worked for a wile but about a week ago it stopped working... every1 thinks at&t cought on to it.... well if any one knos how to fix my prob is that a message comes up saying its forbidden or someting please help!

the only pix you can send are from in your "camera roll" folder. most likely yours is empty

You can, go into the settings, then back out.. the little icon in the top right should turn green. Then you can send. The SwirlyMMS icon in the top right has to be green to send..

An update on this for AT&T customers. What you have to have:

$20 iPhone plan (Unlimited data/200 texts)

$30 unlimited MMS family plan

if you add the 25 cent pay per use plan or the $20 "messaging unlimited" plan, it gets deleted by the AT&T system in 24-48 hours since the plan isn't compatible with the iPhone (so they think)
