There is cardboard into those belt straps - putting shaving foam on the belt only soaked through to the cardboard, making it soft - but like anyone knows, wet cardboard results in rot etc.

It's a very nice vid to do, and I don't doubt the makers good intentions, but just letting ya know.

Nice trick. Probably better off get a real leather strap. Mike nicolau does good work as does top rope belts and Dave millican is probably the best. If you don't wanna send the plated out you can go to ajs. The quality isn't as good as the guys I mentioned above but way better than the fig inc straps

I did this to all 3 of my belts including 1 commemorative. The commemorative is NOT flexible at all (its a spinner) but its better then before and doesnt make that cracking noise anymore.

good trick but u should have took out the cream out of the screw holes with q-tips before putting in the screws because the little bit of cream left can damage the leather to the point where your screws will get rusty

is that belt a typical replica?, or is it deluxe or ultra deluxe? the regular deluxe belts are still pretty stiff.. or do you just do it with regular replicas? i have the very first replica belt ever made, back from WCW in 1999 and they put the plates on with studs so it cant get the plates off, then i have WcW US belt, Deluxe IC belt, WWF Attitude era World belt, and Classic IC belt with white leather

you do need a little more shaving cream..and yea i always recommend leather care products to people who buy belts..they are soooooo helpful...make sure you buy the ones from furniture store for the leather couches not the ones for car leather seats...those suck...theyre cheap...too oily
