@Riverrat, we have both alum. & Stainless polished covers. We wet sand them down and then polish them up every trip. The only chrome we have is some of the valve covers on our engines.
Wow....she is beautiful! I worked on 105ft for Amak towing in Juneau that was built in the 1970's. It was aSause Brothers unit and had been neglected a little. We also had two 3516 Cat's, but it had nothing on your boats...well done! I could only dream of working for company like Western!
The engines are Cat 3516C long stroke. Total HP is 5,000.

Nice, did you polish your valve covers, or are they chromed? I'm getting ready to powdercoat mine.
