I'm also trying to make an automatic cat feeder and I can't find a timer that can be set in one second increments. It looks like the one you have does. If it does, could you tell me what brand that timer is?

This is a neat contraption; however, it seems as though it a) is too noisy, b) could be more efficient and c) if the pale of food is full, it would be overflowing on the floor at the rate the flap is being opened.
