All you people saying Lars sucks for not doing double bass should realize this:

Double bass at even half this speed is so unbelievably hard. It takes so much to even get up to speed, let alone build up the endurance to stay at that speed. Unless you're in peak condition, you can't do it for this song like the studio. The double bass in this song puts the double in any other metallica song to shame really.

if you are a drummer and likes metallica, you should know what lars plays on battery and such songs, he plays with one bass drum, but he does double bass on the one bass drums, if you know what i mean
