I was on three of his four Ghassukus in Slovenia, and I have also passed the I. Dan test under him, and I must say, he's an exceptional man. He has 67 years now, but still on the Gasshuku in May he double slapped(mawashi-geri+ushiro mawasi-geri) his student Chubachi Koji(II. Dan) who came with him to Slovenia. I am really grateful that I could take part of this events. he's a true master.
Yeah, great kicks..i've never seen such a speed and precision in mawashi gueri...Here in Brasil he'd done great works spreading karate since 1970's, with Isoshizo machida, father Shinzo and lyoto machida. GREAT KARATE...OSS!!!
Mawashigeri with that speed and precision could kill a man.. No need for any bullsh** grappling there! And tha Ushiro mawashi geri at the end is just an exceptional show-off. I´d give everything to train under him!
Tanaka Sensei graded my 1st Dan Black belt test... I graded at the top of my class and it was a GREAT HONOUR to have met him.

i remember training with tanaka in ottawa and he gave us this exact same lesson! he is trully a great sensei, expecially for sparring!
