  • Excellent video. Just didn't get the part where you remove the throttle cable and a second cable/tube (opposite of the IAC motor). It looks like he just pulled both of them. I have the exact model, but I'm having a problem removing them. Can anybody please explain it a bit or even post a video about it?

  • hey, i just wanted to ask you if you know of a EFI to carb swap was possible for a 94 ford explorer 4.0l v-6?? im tired of playing broken electronics tag with sensors. one doesnt work, they all go hoopy!

  • @iDoubleMaulerWalshy ok i can help you out it is very easy if you need to you can look it up on google but what i did was remove the air box hose connecting to the throttle body then remove throttle cable and all valves etc from throttle body then there should be about 4 screws bolting the throttle body to the engine remove thise bolts and it should come off easy maybe take pics showing where the valves go and how they go on.. repeat steps backward for replacing the throttle body. Thanks

  • Just wanna point out that on the allpar site, they say in bold letters "do not remove the throttle position sensor".

  • @justinb6003 its fine to remove it just some people with no experience that remove it have a hard time getting it back on and tuned correctly

  • thanks for posting the vid man. i have a 1998 dodge dakota v6 too. and i just got a v8 throttle body for it, this video helps alot.
