Domon and Master Asia are seen catching bullets, smashing giant boulders with their fists, punting whole skyscrapers into the sky, etc. Both of them take down giant mechs with nothing but themselves, no gundams involved. Asia goes around owning whole mobile suit armies with a piece of cloth, and domon stops a gundam with nothing but a rusty hunk of blunt old metal in his hands. You're no man.

@chaserthewolf Oh and every one of the characters is apable of using their signature techniques outside of their gundams. It's shown several times. It's why the show has much less emphasis on the gundams themselves, and more on the martial artists using them, and why they often have scenes where it looks as though the characters are fighting rather than their gundams. They were just an extension of the fighters. Like giving steroids to gods. More accurately, fighting in gundams was safer.

@Draconios1 That explosion was actually caused by a giant bomb in the last ep of the the F-Zero anime. The reason he jumped out and falcon punched black shadow was to make sure he died in the explosion from the bomb and didn't get away. He sacrificed himself in the process. You can actually see the explosion from the bomb has already started in the video. The white light behind falcon and everyone else before he ever even throws the punch.

It was the final episode of the F-Zero anime and Captain Falcon and Black Shadow were thrown into the exploding reactor. Captain Falcon punched Shadow to keep him from escaping the blast from the reactor. and sacrificed himself in the process.

@DemonStruck It was actually just a martial arts technique Asia tought him. Why he never used it outside the gundam isn't really known other than the fact that he never needed to. Every other character was shown using there's outside. And the other move Asia and Domon share from asia's martial arts aside from "whatever finger", the sekiha tenkyoken IS used out of a Gundam. Oh and Domon and Rain technically do use the burning finger outside the gundam in the finale, with glowing hands and all
