I want to play this song on the piano! This is just too beautiful for words and feels my thoughts of flowers and warmth. I haven't seen the movie in for ever though so I wonder what part of the movie this is from. This calls for some emergency popcorn and a tv to watch Pride and Prejudice so I can find out. :)

i've always looked at dawn as quite terrifying, not in a bad way but in a powerful way...i've found evening much calmer and gentler and yet there's nothing better after an insomniac night to look and see the dawn heralding a new day i can't remember where but i once read this quote and have memorized it ever since:

"the morning is wiser than the evening."

i think this music sums up the wisdom of dawn perfectly

@jalex90 Yep, that's true. Almost everything of the music composed for P&P is inspired on very well known pieces of big composers. Not very original, but still very beautiful!

@newyorkmusic72 it might not be original,, biut it requires some kind on talent to do such work and obtain such a beutiful result, besides, I've been thinking this last months that he might have wanted to do some sort of honour, I can't find the word right now, but maybe some how, let know to the world that those great master are always present, that they made music, they are the music it self... do I make my self clear pr is this just a tons of meaningless words brought toghether? xD

@jalex90 That's true! The music through the whole movie is quite identical to some of the most famous pieces of for example Beethoven, but also other known composers. Not very original music then from Marianelli, but it shure is beautiful :)

My father, a professional musician, actually thought this was a known piece for piano from Mendelsohn, or Beethoven when I let him hear this!

I can't tell you how big of a compliment this is for the composer of this beautiful song, knowing my father!! :)
