Has anyone noticed how they keep saying cronk and slaters play, thats bullshit we created hunt hodges and Lockyer legends. 2011 year of the broncos sending out Locky like he deserves.
Well what team do u go for mate? The broncos are the most successful team of the last 20 years and have a higher winning percentage than any other team not 2 mention the most fans in the nrl. I just think someone is jealous.

All inexperienced forwards this year, all the backline is pretty much on the sideline, and Lockyer lost one of his greatest support players, Karmichael Hunt, because he'd prefer to play GAYFL Once the likes of Hodges, Folau and Yow Yeh are back (mind you Hodges should be Fullback), then the Broncos should be able to play to their usual best. This will give forwards confidence
@Gleeshy you know before hunt left to "afl" he had an interview on broncos tv, and he said he'll only be going to "improve his kicking & catching skills" so i think he should be coming back to nrl, maybe later on this year. we'll have to wait and see.

Denan Kemp re-signing could prove to be a masterstroke. Watching this video reiterated that to me. He has amazing finishing skills, and seemed to be able to read Lockyer's kicking game well. I'm tipping him as a possible fullback replacement for Hunt.
Also, I agree, losing Taylor is a huge mistake. Why couldn't we just get rid of Clinton :(
Yeah, i agree....but we're going to need to find a fullback one way or another. There's the option to play Hodges back there (he looked good there in 06), or young Hoffman....
Kemp doesn't have the same ball playing skills as Hunt, but he could be similar to Brett Stewart, who is very much a classy finisher.
But you're right, his best position is wing, and it will be interesting to see what happens. Winterstein and Yow Yeh don't deserve to miss out.

It's Bruno Cullen's fault, when Bennett was in charge he never let Cullen take any part in the players contracts, apparently they feuded shitloads about it. Then when Bennett announced he was leaving, Cullen got his hand back into the team and in that same time boyd, hannant, ennis, stagg and kemp were let go. Bennett said the worst thing the club ever did was let big petero go, i couldn't agree more with him

Is it any surprise we are struggling though? I am a huge broncos fan, always have been, but pre-2009 season I said we would struggle to make the 8 with the forward pack we have. To my happy surprise we were kicking butt in the first 7 or so rounds of the season -- but unfortunately my prediction appears to be coming true. We lost Stagg, Ennis, Hannant, INTEGRAL members of our pack and replaced them with pretenders such as Teo, Setu, Taylor. Man we need Thaiday back!!

when taylor played confraternity (a school comp in queensland) he played halfback, was their goal kicker and play kicker
