  • Love the music you chose for this--it was perfect! How did your older BT react to a new "interloper"? I have a 4 yr old BT and would love to get a puppy but am worried about how they would get along.

  • My 2 yr old BT is around 26 lbs right now. Healthy as a horse. We're going to breed him this summer, and we want to take a male from the litter. I figure that way when his time comes we'll have a piece of him still with us.

  • I have a 28lb boston, and he's not even a year yet!!

  • how big do bostons get? any1..because i seen some 2 yearo nes that r small n some 2 y ear 1's that r big? im lookin to get 1.. can anybody help me

  • Even at their biggest it's rare for BT's to get larger than 25 lbs. They are very compact and muscular. For all that muscle, they are big softies and love to be loved on. Ours never even tried to snap at anyone. She was stubborn, as most terriers are, and not the easiest dog to train, but DAMN she was funny. They are huge hams and love to entertain. Snore and fart like old men too, lol. Find a good breeder through your vet and you'll have a blast with a BT!

  • They are about 15 inches at the shoulder and wiegh about 15 pounds (i came up with these measurements from my 5 year old female boston she is so cute and i love her 4ever, well i hope that helped some)

  • I have a really big boston. It is like 30-35 pounds!

  • I posted another comment, but it didn't show up. The nose on the younger BT was pink when he was born, and it turns black as he gets older. The one in the back is a smaller BT. We breed BT's and ours range from 18-28 lbs. The floppy ears on the pup can be fixed with tape. Normally they stand on their own, but if they don't, they can be taped up. You want your BT's ears to stand or they look goofy! We have a litter of 7, born 11/28.

  • P.S. if the nose doesn't fill in completely black, that's called a 'dudley' nose and is an undesireable trait in the breed.

  • BTs rule. I miss both of my childhood friends. Pugzy was small as a grown up, maybe 12 pounds. Malibu was a whopper at about 23 pounds. I miss not having BTs around.

  • Très FUN.

  • i love bostons.

  • oh that are really some bad boys.

  • are these a proper breed or a mix

  • These are both _pure bred_ Boston Terriers.

  • is that pup really 11weeks old? if he is hes BIG man lol my boston died last week but man he was big he must have been one of the biggest bostons ever and he had some crazy big muscles, he looked like he went gym everyday lol

  • Oh yeah he's 11 weeks! My 2 year old is actually really small, that's probably why the young guy looks so big. Sorry to hear about your boston.

  • Huh. He doesn't really look like a mix but he has extaordinarily large paws and the lack of pigment on his nose is a trait rarely shown to that degree in purebred BTs. He almost looks like he has some Staffy in him.

Being a Boston owner for a long time, and being a huge supporter of the breed, I have NEVER seen a BT that big at 11 weeks. There are other things in the vid that show scale besides the older BT, and HE IS VERY VERY BIG

  • HAHA I just watched it again and he is definately a BT!! HUGE!! Let us know what his weight maxes out at!

  • The older BT in the video is really small for the BT breed so that's part of why the pup looks so big against him. The lack of pigment in the pup's nose is because he's so young and the nose usually doesn't fill in all black until they are a several months old. Now that he's 5 & 1/2 months old he's about 18 lbs and has really long legs—he's one big guy!! And so very lovable!!!

  • Yea i was about to say cause mine is going on 11wks and he not near that big!!!

  • ahhh man i soooo sorry i love me boston terrier there both girls one of then humps the other one

  • Yea i was about to say cause mine is going on 11wks and he not near that big!!!
