How do I get setFSB to save the clock speed? Once I setFSB and I shutdown or restart the clock speed goes back to default.

@starkillertoy I discovered that the issues lies directly on the motherboard itself. setFSB is a temporary over-clocking program, it does NOT write any information into the bios. This is why you have to use a Motherboard that allows overclocking, most newer ones do and they are cheap on ebay-I paid $35 for a Asus Sli and now I can save my OC without any problems.

nice video you make it look way easy lol, i would liek to oc my processor core 2 duo e6550 except the most i oc'd in my life was my video cards,one i pushed to the death this current one im trying to figure out my max stable, so what woudl be your advise for me to attempt? i guessing no because i have no idea where to start ro how it works and dont want to kill the cpu my student cash is skint plus im not he only one that uses this system so i cant replace it if i go wrong

Try CoreTemp, if it doesn't work then you might need to use something like Everest to check out your temps.

Find out what motherboard you have and the chipset. Unfortunately SetFSB does not work with every chipset. You can find out the motherboard by using CPU ID and just google it to find out the chipset you're using.
