@scootyallan , i think its because 'laserlure' is already a company with some pretty nice looking lures, so its probably to do with copyright issues, but anyways if you live in the uk the actual laserlures are available at fishingrevolution.co.uk
nice makerel, i caught my 1st today while snook fishing in the mangroves with a rapala, i never expected to catch one where i was fishing in this canal off the river, i thought it was a decent sized snook the way it pulled, when i got it in closer i thought it was a speckle trout but it was a spotted mackerel, cool looking fish, very streamlined and a great fight, fast fish..pound for pound one of the best fighters i've caught..i can imagine how a battle with a wahoo would be, that would be fun
what are you talking about? (not sarcastically) i fish with both spinner reels and with trawling reels and you need to cast with both (unless trawling). are you talking about fly fishing mabey?
is a trawling reel the same as a bait caster? i like bait casters, they cast further and i'm just as accurate as with a spinner, i like both but the bait caster for me is more convenient especially when fishing with lures, the only thing i hate is the occasional backlash when casting into the wind..if its too windy i'll use a spinner
im not too sure what you mean by bait caster lol, you can clearly see the differences in local terms. what i call a trawling reel is the style reel that you have to arrange the way the nylon spools or it will knot up as you reel.
what i call a bait caster is the one that is on the top, spinning reels hang down (unless an idiot is using it) its on the top side the way you hold it like one of those kid push button reels, and when you reel it a guide moves side to side to keep the line in a neat spool
spinning reeels are for ppl who know goods and bads about spinning reels and ppl who fish light light, and ppl who like having a good fight with a fish
once we went fishing in england at brickston and we caught 150 macrael in 3 hours... we wer getting like 5 on a line... a seal also turned up and my dog was stealing other people's macrael :/ wt bait do u use plz?
different type of mackeral,i was fishing down isle wight and caught heaps, great fun,and have also caught them off rottnest in WA and they fight v hard
obviously theyre different types of mackerel, but the best one i ever had was, when we went out on a 2 hour trip out of looe, cornwall, england, and caught a grand total of 268 mackerel between the 3 of us!!! you didnt even have to let it down more than 10 feet to get 10 on the line!! caught three on one hook at one point!! good times..
