The Necrobot has a training difficulty of 60, so it attacks almost all the time with moderate charisma, does pretty good damage [32-80 is the listed damage]. But very high charisma doesnt boost its damage much. As all other decent darkness pets are either dual element (like Ninjat), Z-token-only (Zorbak) or rare, I won't sell it.
The spider is a nice guest, but currently it is bugged, so it won't let you use Mage Robes metamagics or IronThorn attack bonus with magic weapons.
Nice. That lightning effect in the beginning was especially cool. :-D
When I obtained my brain spider & the Necrobot, the first enemy that came against me was Lightbringer (92), followed by 2 Cyclops Chieftains and an Umazen (2) in RA. Good opportunity to test their might. :-)
This is a unfair battle between GOOD and evil

The brain spider is fantastic. The 60MP per turn is a little high, though.
How's the Necrobot?
