There was also a Knights of the Old Republic III in development back in 2004, but it got cancelled. However, there are rumors going around that Bioware has started working on Knights of the Old Republic III again, probably a different plot, and it will be for all major consoles and PC, except the Wii. This is just a rumor, i'm just putting it out there for the masses to contemplate for the next year or so and see if it's real. Although I think The Old Republic could be considered KOTOR3.

No i'm not going to torrent the game. I play the Xbox versions, my computer is too crappy to play the game anyway. I'm getting a new one soon so I can play newer games like Starcraft II and The Old Republic. To the people complaning about the graphics: Look at WoW, or any other MMOs, and compare the graphics. Also, what do you want for a MMO? The Force Unleashed-like graphics? And then start crying about how there is NO TECHNOLOGY to run it. Second: Bioware is giving us A WHOLE STORY INSIDE A MMO! That's A LOT more than most get, it could be 2D and it would be good because Bioware is developing it! If you complain about the graphics that means you never played KOTOR and felt it's awesomeness

I know a few of the planets: Ord Mantell, Coruscant, Hutta, Korriban, Dromund Khas, Tython, Alderaan, I believe they said Corellia, Hoth, I think Tatooine, Taris. If there is any planet that I would like to see included is Manaan. I remember playing KOTOR and staring out over the railing of Ohto City and staring out at the vast ocean that covers the entire planet. The Swoop Bike Track was pretty cool too.

@MasterHonorius Huh, I know alot about Star Wars, but I never heard that. I never got a chance to play KOTOR II so whatever happened in that game I may never know. I've been looking for even a used copy online. If I do manage to find a store with one, they are out of copies and probably will never have any, or they're asking for a hundred plus dollars for it. Havn't read any of the books yet. The Old Republic will be a good chance to catch up on stuff. Now all I need is a new computer.

i hope there are more worlds than that. even if some of them are smaller or only passing waypoints. it just doesn't have a starwars feel to only have four or five planets, especially in an mmp. but then again, there needs to be a balance of quality and quantity. god... must be hard designing this stuff...

@Kizu671 Bioware is a little cleverer than using a game-designing tool that was bad even 10 years ago. I'm sure they'll be creative enough to come up with stuff like: actual walls, oceans, mountains, lava lakes etc. Even in WOW there are no invisible walls, and that game is 5 years old.

And I beg to differ on WoW. I'm a regular player of it, and their is quite a small amount of invisible walls, if you count the ruins of Lordaeron in Eastern Plague Lands. You can try and fly over it as much as you want, but it won't work. And that would just be one example.

@TheReavous WoW had troubles from the start I mean theres only so many locations in thier fantasy story-line. in Kotor there could be thousands of worlds and the reasons clear. Newly Discovered, A won battle opens its hyper lane to sith/republic or more worlds join the battle as the mmo story progresses. If I had the money Blizzard had I woulda wrote a more open ended story, but how many portals can they keep makeing or landscapes that pop up for no reason?

To make it all less confusing after KOTOR 1&2 if you remember it seemed like both the Jedi/sith where almost extinct because of the war so they both went back to there home planets which where both Derserted ..as well repopulated and here we are. So in saying that its about 200-300 years after KOTOR 1&2 and about 1000 years b4 the rise of Palpatine and Vader.
