While the models definitely need to CONTROL their drinking to the point that they don't get inebriated or it impacts their physical appearance, she is wrong to deny them drinks because of the potential reason that they might get a drinking problem because she did.

In some instances, especially if they are a bit nervous in meeting clients, etc., it might actually help them to loosen up a bit.

She comes across as being too controlling so the models resent this.
