  • I love those open chords!!!

  • My favorite tutorial so far. I like how you are branch out into the modal techniques rather than just chord study. It will be a sad day when I reach video # 83!

  • erm is there any way that you put the "running" line of notes together into sheet music or does the prog only contain the single line thing and nothing else?

  • "Playing and talking... not the easiest thing in the world" If you could sing I'd quit you make magic seem so simple! You're like Hendrix man!! Even your vocal rhythms astounding - I've got nothing but love for your style and flare - Can't thank you enough for this (-_º ) _|m/ 7notemode ROCKS The jazz like no other

  • @roblimusic Thanks a million roblimusic!

  • This is a great rendition of the song. It seems like you are using a combination of things for the soloing. 7 note mode, circle of 5ths, and the scales of the higher extension chords. For example if you play a Cm11 chord you would take the Bbmajor chord out of that and just play the Bbmajor scale. I was wondering if my reasoning is correct ? Thanks.

  • @IronMicey911 That is one way to view it and it makes sense to me :-)

  • Your style and technique is incredible... I enjoy just watching you play... I watch your

  • A little too advanced for me, but I´ll get there! Thanks!!!

  • This is so cool. You are helping the viewer learn the piece at a metalevel. I think this is a wonderful formula for teaching!

it has helped me cognize chords+scales in a way i had never done before!! Thanks a lot for this. and keep up the good work!

  • excellent as usual! also amazing how you can speak so naturally whilst playing

  • Much gratitude for your extensive efforts! There is much to learn here. I'll be learning as much of your technique as I can absorb. The way in which you have presented it with the score directly above allows me to pause the video and try duplicating what I heard. Thanks again for the tremendous effort to make this understandable and instructive. You are a marvelous pianist, wish I could hear you play live.

  • Thank you very much for this tutorial, 7NM. Great approach, by the way!

    Kind regards,

    Beebebop,

    Beijing.
