You know that thing girls do, to try to make their voice sound deeper? That's what you did, and it sounds bad and obvious, no offense but you don't have to do that. Though I know what you're talking about, I've been voice training by singing along to songs a lot of the time... It just takes practice to get your voice to stay consistent.
