  • i got an error that says "VT-x/AMD hardware acceleration is not available on your system. Certain guests require this feature and will fail to boot without out." Then when I hit continue it says "No bootable medium found! System halted."

Please respond ASAP I need help.

  • @MrXCrAzEdScOpEzx I'vegot the same

  • @MrXCrAzEdScOpEzx Using VT-x or AMD-v is dependent upon your cpu supporting it. If your cpu does support it, then check the bios to be sure that the virtualization acceleration is enabled. Otherwise disable it by going to settings, then click the acceleration tab. Uncheck enable VT-x/AMD-v. As for the bootable media aspect it seems that you have not directed the program to a bootable osx install disk or the image is faulty.

  • could you please tell me the song that's playing in the background? i love it!

  • @vluu80 3\/1L N1N3 - H1R3D G00N5

  • @efaustus9 awesome, thanks!

  • how do, you know if your computer runs on a 34 or 64 bit proceeor

  • @jkbasa34 check your hard drive. If it's got a folder Program Files(x86) It means you're running a 64bit processor. Or if you have 4gb and above rams and you can see that the computer detects it all, it means you're running a 64bit.

  • Thanks alot!

but i have a question though, if i install some progrmas on the OS X via the virtual box and then i shut down the virtual OS X, the programs that i installed there will still be saved?

  • @CR9realify Ys i managed to fix it by only haveing 1 CPU This DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE HAHA but now i am having another problem it says Installation Failed The Source Of the Media is Damaged??? does that mean it has to be on a cd?

  • @landyman97 sorry i was being an idiot and not customizing the installation

  • So in order to run an actual Mac program (.dmg) what would i have to do?

  • @chaak100 double click it just as you would a exe in windows.

  • @rAndOmPRODUCTIONS43 it might, but I believe you will still need the chameleon boot loader and/or Empire Efi for it to boot on non mac hardware.

  • uhm mine just gets frozen on the apple screen help please?

  • @626ryan88 before or after install.

  • @efaustus9 is vmware faster than virtual box?

  • @efaustus9 before...!

  • You can update programs just not the MacOSX combined update thing. Otherwise when you boot up it stays at the blue screen. (thumbs up if you learned the hard way)

  • where can i download that for free?

  • @cj061 read the description.

  • @efaustus9 thank you im using it now

  • @efaustus9 what can i use if i want is windows 7?

  • thanks a lot it works but now when i try to install .dmg files or access certain websites, even when i boot in safe mode it comes up with a Kernel panic. Please help and i will rate 5 stars and subscribe and tell all my friends to do the same.

  • @theiDevicehacker you have to be careful with what you install. Newer apps will ask you to update before you install. If you update your os through the official means then you will probably break it as the apple update will unhack the hackintosh. If there is an app you want to run you will have better luck running it if you find a version of the program that predates the version of os x you are using. You can also try and find a newer version of osx on the internet and patch it your self.

  • how do i get to use my existing webcam in osx

  • @vybzshakur plug it in. open virtual box highlight your os and select settings. Check the enable usb 2.0 box then click the usb icon with the green plus mark and select your device. Finally click ok and start the os.

  • @efaustus9 ok. im getting kernel error something something long bios screen contact voodoo dev team.. my pc : amd 1055t 8gb drr3 1333 ati 4920

  • @vybzshakur sounds like os x does not support your webcam.

  • everytime i turn on the mac os it keeps reinstalling theosx

  • @jagelone unmount the iso after you have installed the os.

  • Comment removed

  • Thanks for the vid! Helped me out a ton!

  • @blackfireclub You welcome, Im glad it was helpful.

  • @efaustus9 i keep running into the 'can not access the kernel driver' error. any suggestions?

  • @ChouangDsi What are your system specs? also did you select to install the voodoo kernel as instructed?

  • @efaustus9 Presario CQ62, Intel Celeron 2.2 GHz, 2 GB DDR3, Windows Home Premium 64-bit...The error appears immediately after I click start to begin the installation so I didn't get to the menu to select the voodoo kernel. Thanks.

  • @ChouangDsi sounds like you are using a standard version of osx. Did you just download a copy of os x, or did you download a special patched version that supports a wider selection of intel and amd processors. If you google "iPC OSx86 10.5.6 torrent" you should find the version I am using in the video.

  • @efaustus9 I downloaded the iso used in the video. Later I tried to run a VM of Ubuntu 64 bit. It was rejected because "i686 was not detected". I tried the 32 bit version. It worked fine. I'm puzzled now. On the X86 HCL, my machine isn't listed so I'm guessing that may be the issue.

  • i think ill dual boot :(

  • @CRYOmine I think your right. I Just havent done it yet.

  • awesome way to try Mac OS X without buying Macintosh , great video!
