Corbyn is not talking about flares just special activity but in relation to the position of the moon which interferes with solar radiation, there is a major difference because activity is constant.
My guess is you plotted all the sun flares magnitudes and timings they would align to nothing. The fact that one guy is standing behind this science is telling. The fact that Corbyn has declined to publish the details of his method, shows it is UNSCIENTIFIC. Ironic. When Corbyn's 2008 Predictions January were wrong. Mr. Corbyn blamed the incorrect forecast on an undefined 'procedural error. This guy is a fraud.
@Zooni2 There have been plenty of errors in climate data on both sides of the coin. So, your argument that he had errors is really null and void. There are plenty of errors on both sides of this issue that scientists had to go back and recalculate. For example there was a satellite measuring extreme cooling for several years, they found the satellite had been off its original orbit due to power issues. The other side is also notorious for withholding data from other scientists, so who's right
Any major source of data, that is turned into media will not be legit! All media and govt. is owned and run by the people with all the money! And the people with all the money have only one concern, and thats more money! Corperate America! Be it,Live it,support it,Or die! All the people that do not support it are being,as we speak, put to death.Cut out social security, medi care to balance budget, but keep invading countries and give big corp.tax breaks!G.E.payed 0 taxes on billions of profit! WTF!
How can Corbyn say that feedback negates CO2 totally when the CO2 levels have steadily risen to over 390 ppm! This unusually high level of CO2 over this last 60 years is well outside the peak levels of the last 400,000 years (under 300 ppm). His further misleads when stating that climate studies over the last 1000 years, 10,000, etc., show no evidence of carbon as the main driver of warming in natural cycles, yet he doesn't examine the role of an unnatural CO2 output as an anomaly.
Satellite temperature data is like Hawkeye in tennis. Just show the actual footage, not a model. Weather stations report more frequently than orbital periods and are more locally precise. The main problem with interpretations of Time Series data is trend mapping. The trend is an assumption. Even when temps are falling, the average trend is only balanced against the assumption of its direction. This is evident when the annual trend is downward yet all seasonal trend is upward. It's contradictory.
Humans never seem to 'catch on'. Thousands of years ago, Witch Doctors were asking for livestock and other goods in return for dealing with the Evil Spirits. The IPCC and it's Witch Doctors do the same via carbon credits.
We might be going through a magnetic pole shift :o) the sun does that every 11 years! but a geographical poleshift takes 5000 years! if you look at ancient ice cores africa used to be in the northpole! & it moves every 72 years, you have to reset compasses at this point! & your start signs are not correct! look at your sign at the start date of it & see if its facing north! they change! no instant pole shift, sorry. if you want info look at the sun but also how electric forces affect earth! :o)
The only issue I have with what this Scientist is saying that they have a millions years of data... Prove it! But in relation to the Sun and the Moon, spot on... as the Bible says!
America is believed by Weather Bureau scientists to be on the verge of a change of climate, with a return to increasing rains and deeper snows and the colder winters...Ass.Press, Dec.15,1934.
A mysterious warming of the climate is slowly manifesting itself in the Arctic...New York Times, May 30, 1937.
@ginckgo Does it not make you wonder that he keeps to be proven right in his weather predictions, see his prediction for the winter in US and EU over the holydays, I tend to pay attension to people that are proven right in their predictions consistanly, but very very sceptic the ones that are proven wrong again and agin in their predictions...just the way I am ;)

I remember in the 70's when the "educated opinion" was that we were heading into another ice age. Now it's global warming. Not sure what the next scare will be but I'm certain it will either kill us or it won't.
@tonyt5000 Actually the majority was of the opinion we were headed for global warming in the 70s as well. See Greenman365s excellent video. We didn't even know a fraction then that we now do about our planet's climate system.
If Corbyn has actually figured out how to predict stuff he may become a very rich man. Even if he can't sell his product he could work with any commodities trader and be very successful.
So who's behind this little facade of all the thumbs-up to the AGW arguments, plus allowing them to be visible while counter-arguments are hidden, all throughout the more recent comments on this interview? Pretty pathetic editing by somebody who's controlling the content here.
In the 70s, scientists said the US (including Florida) would be covered in ice by the mid 1990s. . . Climatologists were saying it, scientists on the nightly news were saying it, and they were showing us charts and graphs in biology class that "proved" it. . . . Back then, anyone who didn't believe that the US would be covered in ice by the 90s, was told that they "didn't understand science" . . Sound familiar? . . . .
The majority of peer reviewed climate papers published in the 1970's were predicting global warming due to human CO2 emissions.
What the media hypes, and what's going on in the scientific world, are often not the same. And that hold true today, where the media, trying to "be fair" about a "major political topic", hypes "the global warming controversy". In the halls of science, there IS no raging controversy.

Stunned.... and the rest of the hystronics crowd. How soon you have forgotten.
Mr "Hockey Stick" was famous for his extraordinary claims in the past. I reference the 1970's "Imminent Ice Age" claim. Amazing how climatology's last 'Gloom and Doom' prophecy seemed to be backed up by the data then as well, but with the same applied "science" (term loosely applied).
Climatology (an infant science) amazingly can do what meteorology (an established science) cannot. Predict the weather.long term.

He is talking about what caused the problem truthfully, in a sense, because the unusual weather pattern was caused by an interference to the Jet Stream.
However he lies when he says that the sun (solar flares) is what is blocking the jet stream, then he goes into some nonsense about the moon modulating the effect, what a fuck wit.
The jet stream was blocked/interfered with by HAARP technology, two of americas enemies got a taste.
Last week’s meeting of 700+ scientists, policymakers, and concerned citizens in Chicago to discuss the science and economics of global warming at the Fourth International Conference on Climate Change was a huge success as measured by the intent of its sponsors: to establish once and for all that the climate realist position is increasingly the accepted conclusion among thinking people in the three categories noted above. That position is this: manmade global warming is not a crisis
@herculese220 Yes, all parties at the conference pretty much agreed that there was a good deal of warming in the 1980s and 1990s, and that the trend stopped and reversed in the current decade. Global temperatures have been falling in recent years, even though the weather stations and other data chosen to represent the official temperature records are in fact skewed to show higher and more-rising temperatures than are actually occurring.
@herculese220 The predictions of a steady, horrifying increase in temperatures have proven false, which should have been a great embarrassment to the climate alarmists who made the claims and set them as the basis for their extravagant power grabs such as emissions limits and cap and trade.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@herculese220 Yet the embarrassment has not been forthcoming from those proven to be wrong, because they are shameless.
One speaker at the conference, whom I was privileged to see, was James Delingpole, a non-scientist and a writer (a novelist, even!), who wowed the crowd with great common sense and a powerful insight into what’s really been behind the global warming scare all along. As Delingpole wrote in the Spectator after conference:
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@herculese220 It is a battle against a tyranny every bit as great as we faced in the second world war or the Cold War. All what’s different about this enemy is that instead of jackboots it wears long hair, a warm, caring smile and drives a VW Combi with an ‘Atomkraft Nein Danke’ sticker.

@herculese220 Mother Gaia is suffering; it’s mostly our fault; the only way to atone for our sins is to destroy Western industrial civilisation and shackle ourselves with a form of One World government run by ‘experts’ and bureaucrats over whom we have no democratic control.

@herculese220 [T]he Anthropogenic Global Warming scare is not about science and never was. As Climategate proved (but as some of us suspected long before), AGW is the invention of a cabal of activists, all working towards more or less the same ecofascist agenda:
And if you wankers think I am going to bat down all of the bat shit crazy Exxon propaganda you are very much mistake 'climate gate', 'medieval warm periods', 'hockey graphs', no warming for 10 years, 'coming ice ages' all are insane lunacy - go here before you even fucking start:
'Skeptic Arguments and What the Science Says' on google
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@StunnedByStupidity OH, the paid "skeptic's" sites? I love the propaganda you're peddling. Funny too is that all the oil companies have ponied up a staggering $100 million., in the last 10 yrs..compared to the $128 billion spent by the entire world in 2008, alone. Almost a trillion has been spent on research in the past 10 yrs.
So, who's zooming whom here? And we're to believe someone who would lose their job if they said global warming wasn't happening?
@gerrilea1 So thats you stupid defense? So anything that disagrees is part of the huge global conspiracy? REALLY? You are about one telephone call away from being incarcerated.
Ok it's very simple. See the solar output in the graph on the page its used all over (I have even seen it in denialist documentaries like the great global warming swindle) but obviously you know so much better that both the scientists and the denier - so go get your fucking raph bigot - MULTI-DECADAL! BIGOT!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@StunnedByStupidity "one phone call away from being incarcerated"? What laws have I broken? You're truly delusional! Your parents should be informed of how and what you are doing in the interwebs, you need to be grounded!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@StunnedByStupidity Again, you're delusional, I want raw data, not manipulated or "adjusted" visual representations of said data. How about you provide us with the raw data...oppps...can't do it can you, it's been deleted by those "scientists"...
Amazing how that works, isn't it? They claim there's warming but when pressed for the actual data sets, they deleted them, now all we have is their word!
@gerrilea1 $T on climate research in the last 10 years - care to back that number up with what it was spent on and where it was spent?
In the US which is by far the largets investor in climate research the figure is less than $2B over the last decade (I can back that up with the budgets from NASA, NOAA, and NSF which are the 3 gaencies doing the vast majority of the research.
Now research is not propaganda which is what the oil companies have spent their $s on.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@drkstrong Actually, research is exactly the kind of propaganda that oil companies have spent their dollars on. See the sponsor list of the East-Anglia Climate Research Unit (yes, the biggest contributor to IPCC, and the one that was the center of the Climategate affair). British Petroleum, Shell, WWF and Greenpeace are all there. I wonder what any of those have to do with climate science...
@Tronic358 BP & Shell left the petroleum institute when the GW evidence became overwhelming that might explain their guilt money
The biggest contributor is the UK government. Most of the business contributions were quite smal. $22m in 10 years is chicken feed, I ran a science group in the US that had an annual budget of about $70M for just over 100 people. It costs a lot to run a facility, computers, maintenance, pay salaries, and travel. The university probably took half of that $22M as OHD.

@StunnedByStupidi I have something much better than peer-reviewed evidence, I have objectively verifiable evidence that anthropogenic global warming isn't a threat. Do you know where the idea of manmade global warming was first brought up? By the Club of Rome, many decades ago in their publication "The First Global Revolution" where they openly admit they intend to use the manufactured crisis of manmade global warming to create a more sustainable society, subvert capitalism and impose socialism.
You post a few silly out of contect quotes representing a few scientists and I post pressed released quotes by some of the worlds top institutions, representing 10's thousands of scientists - and I have many many more. But again the bigot wont change its mind - because it is a very very very very stupid right winger.
BTW WHAT HAS CAUSED THE WARMIMG AGAIN? *holds hand to ear*
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@StunnedByStupidity The Sun has caused "global warming"...When the Sun "comes up" the temperatures rise and when it "goes down", guess what, so does the temperatures. Amazing how all that science works!
LOL...In fact, in some places the temperature difference between night and day can vary from 30-40 degrees or even more! Wow...LMFAO!
@StunnedByStupidity And I'll tell you what when you claim not to be a BIGOT, when I have repeatedly called you one, it might be an idea when I post a link to help you overcome your handycap, you check it out first because otherwise you might come over as a complete and uterr, what's the word? BIGOT.
Now go to that link and just go see what the first argument is in the long list. Then pop back and apologize for being a uh... B-I-G-O-T!

@StunnedByStupidity I've answered your repeated delusional requests and you continue to ignore my answers. Show us the raw data and again, your use of the term bigoted is incorrect. You don't know me but you've made assumptions that I'm prejudiced and the definition of prejudice is opinion without all the facts or knowledge.
Problem is I've read both sides of these theories, for and against. The "for" side is propaganda and misdirection and lies. No scientific facts have been presented yet

@gerrilea1 continued, what has occurred is a minor temperature increase over the past 150 yrs of 1.5 degrees F. That's it! Not the fear-mongering...4 or 5 degree increases they "projected" would happen by 2000. So, their "theories" are just that "theories", had they been accurate and the temp increases were where their computer models said they would be...I would have believed them.
Had they not deleted the raw data sets, I might have believed them, had I not done my own research into it!
@gerrilea1 Look I have play fair all along but you are so stunningly dishonest, the only way to proceed is to nail you down - I could have chosen any one of number of stupid claims you have made but we will stick to these two. You said it was the sun - you therefore had evidence - and spare me Pluto and Mars (again go check the explanations). We are looking for solar output, so bigot:
WHERE IS YOUR GRAPH - AND DICTIONARY? You have really pissed me off and I will wait for an apology...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@StunnedByStupidity Dishonest now? LOL...Mars, Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn and their moons are all getting warmer or going through planetary changes. And thus far, there have been no legitimate explanations given for the temp increases for these planets. Even the Neptune and Uranus are warming... And I've given my evidence for the Sun's role in all of this, clearly you can't read.
Sun comes up, it gets warmer, Sun goes down, it gets colder. Please hold your breathe for that apology, will ya?
@gerrilea1 See this reply just absolutely SHOUTS BIGOT. You fucking moron!
Now quit being so fucking retarded (Mercury warming? Venus? - google 'dust storms mars warming' Jupiter NOT warming the moons tidal effects - you fucking stunningly stupid wanker)
Now WANKER get your fucking graph and dictionary definition! WANKEWR WANKER WANKER!
@gerrilea1 White flag accepted. I'm betting right wing projection again on the parent thing? I bet...
Now, having made a total ass of yourself, go buy some books on the subject and get behind the greatest threat to life on Earth for at least 50 million fucking years (oh and next time I ask you to fuck off and leave me alone at the start of a conversation - be a love and fuck off and leave me alone eh?) This is a public forum, if you don't like people responding to your immature remarks, then don't make them, simple.
And it's you who's made a fool of themselves here. Little boy!
@gerrilea1 YOUR GRAPH? Really you really want to keep this up until you make a complete and utter idiot of yourself. I have been batting down the right wing fruits (and I stick with that appraisal of you - you are guaranteed a conspiracy theorist, who probably is religious, owns guns, hates out groups, and see nothing wrong with neoliberalism - if they can just get it right) on and off for a couple of years and NEVER met such a bigoted person and there has been stiff competition believe me!

@gerrilea1 continued...Neoliberalism is a farce fed to the masses as a guise to hide the socialism (bailouts) for corporations. I believe in small businesses, not mega-corporations that can kill and maim and get away with it... It's a psychotic system that will destroy itself, if not controlled, reasonably!
@glea1 Neolibaralism is used to hide the fucking socialism of bailouts - look why the fuck I am wasting my fucking time on you I don't fucking know.
So you're middle of the road socially(indifferent)and right wing economically-I have to hear how your small business model wont lead to a big business model- do they all promise not to move towards growth? On second thoughts I don't want to hear what you have to say - I am pissed enough already.

No company can own everything in one industry, they cannot be allowed to contribute to political campaigns or political parties. They are created "legal fiction", no rights. If a group of investors want to form a company, then those investors must be held personally liable for any and all their companies do! Period.

@gerrilea1 Ok I'll come towards you but you fucking back off again and we will go back to the same stupid repetition. Right so does science work? You start getting stupid - I warn you...
Science today is corrupted and politicized, it's not true science or scientific method. Einstein didn't have his mathematics "peer-reviewed"! Scientist used to be honest, logical truth seekers...Today they are nothing more than puppets to our political leaders. They know what side their bread is buttered on.
@gerrilea1 Have you any idea what so ever at how insane that rant is? Have you got a college degree? IN WHAT? This level of ignorance - oh and boy are you proud of being stupid - is just way outside anything I have met on the net. I don;t want to make this too personal - but I really think there is mental instability here. To want to make sure nothing becomes of anything, shows a very strange psychology indeed.
Ok, and so computers, space rockets, tooth paste, jumbo jets, none of these 'work'?
@gerrilea1 OK, suddenly feel a little uncomfortable. You have gone quiet and I am getting suspicious I might have touched a nerve on that last post. My apologies. If the world has fucked with you as much as I am guessing PLEASE don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Yes it can be an awful place but there are many good things in it!

Problems of global warming, climate change, and their various negative impacts on human life and on the functioning of entire societies are one of the most dramatic challenges of modern times.
National Research Council (US)
The IPCC's conclusion that most of the observed warming of the last 50 years is likely to have been due to the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations accurately reflects the current thinking of the scientific community on this issue
I'll give INSTITUTIONS many thousands of SCIENTISTS are represented on each quote:
InterAcademy Council
Current patterns of energy resources and energy usage are proving detrimental to the long-term welfare of humanity
European Academy of Sciences and Arts
Human activity is most likely responsible for climate warming. Most of the climatic warming over the last 50 years is likely to have been caused by increased concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere

"Assuming that at least part of the source of CO2 additions in the last 50 years is anthropogenic (man-made), the likely scenario is (at the level of additions involved) that CO2 concentrations in our atmosphere are an effect of temperature-- not the other way around..."
@wahahn Nice try but you should have checked the date of the article. It was early 2000,s before before the satellite results of Christy were found to be in error. He measured cooling but did not allow for precession of th eorbit of the satellite from a noon (warm) orbit to an evening orbit (cool). He has admitted the error and the satellite data now show the same warming as the ground, radiosondes, and surface statitions (Report by the US Global Change Research Program - set up by Goerge Bush)
@wahahn Most plants have evolved with a CO2 levels of between 170 and 270 ppm over the last million years. It is now above 390 ppm. They dont need the other 30%.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@drkstrong Now that's funny! They don't need it? Funny more CO2 means they will grow bigger and multiply. Meaning they will create more O2 for the world. Wow, I can't believe someone actually posted a remark like yours. Reality is, 650 million years ago, CO2 levels were over 600ppm. Opps, that would be around the time of the huge land mammals and dinosaurs. Hmmm, a correlation maybe? Opps, maybe I shouldn't have told everyone...LOL!
@gerrilea1 SOME plants (C3) grow larger, not all (C4). Larger though is not better, they need more water (which with GW they dont get as soil moisture levels drop) they dont become more nutricious as that is dependent on the minerals in the soil (so they need more fertilizer).
So the more plants produce more oxygen do they? Please expalin why O2 levels have fallen by the same amount as CO2 has increased acording to the Keeling atmospheric composition measurements.
@drkstrong Your opinion, facts are facts. With higher CO2 levels, plants utilize water better, not needing as much as you falsely claim here. Or you false claim that they need more fertilizer. Wow, who's the one that's presenting faux facts on the interwebs here?
Have you not researched the climate modification aerosols being used? Barium and cadmium suck the O2 out of the atmosphere. And how many hectares of the Amazon rain forests have been cut down? Or the hectares of land worldwide?
@gerrilea1 Plants use water more efficiently if they can get it but at higher temperatures the soil moisture content is lower. Explain, i f you can, why in the areas most affected by global warming so far the crop yields have fallen.
Climate modification - more conspiracy theories. Calculate how much barium and cadmium would have to be used to drop O2 contnet by 100 ppm!
@gerrilea1 Sorry wrong again. Mammals did not appear until about 70million years ago and then they looked a lot like reptiles. They started to appear as CO2 levels plummeted during the Cenazoic (sp?) from the Mesozoic (Sp?) eras. If you like a world of huge reptiles and insects up the CO2 content of the atmosphere but us mammals dont do well under those conditions.
@drkstrong Now I know you are not a scientist, or if you are, not a very good one, must have failed a few classes in College. Mesozoic Period - what paleontologists today claim was about 250 million yrs to 67 million yrs ago, when mammals evolved, or so they claim. I was wrong on the dates, it was Carboniferous Period 320 ml to 287 ml yrs ago. During the Jurassic period, CO2 was upwards of 4000ppm. Yet mammals still evolved. So, what degree do you have?
@gerrilea1 If you are counting shrew like creatures that lived under ground and were dinosaur food then you are correct but mammals started to really evolve into the dominent life form about 70My ago after the dinosaurs had gone and CO2 levels fell.
I have a BSc in Physics, amasters in astronomy, and a Phd In Astrophysics (with a specialty in solar physics). Again check out my book (The many faces of the Sun)
@drkstrong If you have a BSc in Physics, a masters in astronomy, and a Phd In Astrophysics (with a specialty in solar physics), howcome you sound so stupid and wrong? Did you go to the University of Pseudo-science and Quackery?
@drkstrong Wait a minute here, weren't we all taught the reason the dino's died was because of a meteor impact? It wasn't because of high CO2 levels, and we mammals still continued to evolve. I don't see your correlations, not logical lower C02 levels is not the reason mammals thrived, it's because the dino's stopped eating us! And again, if mammals could evolve with C02 levels at 4000ppm, what's the problem then today? Fear-mongering, that's all!
@drkstrong Please stop lying here! Ferns and conifers (trees) covered the planet during the Jurassic period and mammals were all over the place during this same period, as stated previously, CO2 levels were 4000ppm during this time. Who's zooming whom here? So, if GW theory is correct, then the world should have had runaway global warming and all the ice sheets would have been gone a millions of yrs ago and all life should have died off! It didn't happen, so the GW is still wrong even today!

@drkstrong I don't know, it seems to make a lot more sense than the gibberish we hear from Al Gore. When analyzed closely, Al Gores charts show that Co2 did in fact rise AFTER the temp had already started to increase. And if this is in fact the coolest interglacial period in some time, thats pretty solid evidence.
I'm no scientist, just a casual observer of both sides, and when the pro-warmers talk, i feel like i'm talking to a snake oil salesmen....
@dahoeb Gore is not a scientist but is reporting science. We have known for 100 years what caused the initiation of the interglacial and glacial periods - Milankovitch cycles (cahnges in the Earth's orbit) but they were not large enough to cause the temperature effects seen. The subsequent increase in GHGs accounts for the difference.
This time the orbits have not changed but we have dumped GHG and aerosols (important!) into the atmosphere and they are leading the temperatures not lagging

@drkstrong How about you tell the truth here, Solar irradiance or lack there of is and always has been the biggest driving force on our weather. Explain the warming occurring on Venus, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn? And their orbiting moons too! Explain Jupiter's Big Red Spot why it's getting smaller and another one developing and oh, it loosing one of its rings too. Explain why our sister planets are getting brighter too!
Gore's "reported science" was shown to be wrong, in court!
Mercury - no papers saying that Mercury has warmed
Venus - no papers saying that Venus has warmed
Mars - dust storms have changed the albedo of the planet according to the discoverer of the warming besides the aleged climate shift occured at solar minimum (2008) when the Sun was at its lowest TSI ever measured
Jupiter is getting spotty so what.
Iapetus is heating only on one side of the moon (the leading edge) - care to explain that?
Jupiter's Triton & Ganymede, getting warmer & as previously mentioned, one of Jupiter's rings just disappeared.
Pluto, getting warmer
Mars, getting warmer & icecaps melting
Point is simple, man is not doing this. And there has to be something else causing these changes, especially on the biggest planet in our Solar System, Jupiter, 1300 times bigger than Earth.
These facts can be spun all you like, but we're waking up to the lies we've been spoon fed!

Why has the stratosphere decreased by 30%? GHG's you say. Or why is the magnetosphere have holes in it in the South Atlantic? Man-made too? Why is magnetic north moving out of Canada? That movement is estimated at 40 miles a year. Wow, man is truly powerful now!
@drkstrong Lets see, " I work at Nasa but don't get money from the government", maybe you should have said, I volunteer at Nasa. Work implies paid wages. And you claim to be a published book writer too. And why do you have any obligations? Criminals are required to do "community service". Why would the gov't want a retired scientist to browse the interwebs? Cass Sunstein disinfo employee maybe?
We've caught on to the game sir, good luck with your propaganda and lies!
@gerrilea1 Its called an Emeritus position, it means your work for th efun of it. For 40 years I have been paid to do my hobby (science) now I am retired on a pension I can do what science I want to do. It is bliss. My golf game is going to pot though from lack of use!
All scientists have an obligation to keep the public informed of what their tax $s are spent on and inspire the next generation Part of that in my opinion is exposing pseudo science to the galre of reality. You are welcome!

So you are most probably one of 'Cass Sunstein's Internet Thought Police' anybody reading this please google that, and the term 'Cognitive infiltration'. If being some kind of pathetic internet watch-tower on opinion and thought is your gig, then lets have some fun and make you work. Do you know what HAARP is?

@StunnedByStupidity BTW yes you do indeed have “crippled epistemologies.” and scientists are NOT on you side of the spectrum of political insanity. Therefore in right wing fruit land I am an agent of Obama - except I've been at this for more than 3 years so let me guess they built a time machine for me to go back in time and post comments? Or is ALL of you tube in on it as well? Yeah its the whole would that is wrong not your insane conspiracy theories. Read 'The Authoritarians' quickly BTW...
@herculese220 So global warming has been disproved in these has it? REALLY? Well as proof why not read Harry Potter and the Order of The Phoenix and that will then mean global warming is real. And if you put custard down your pants, why singing the national anthem with pencils up you nose you will be able to twist your tin foil hat and pick up the NWO communications to the lizard people and... well you get the drift...
@StunnedByStupidity BTW if you read that fucking book I posted you would fucking know the The Authoritarian Personality was flawed and that Altemeyers Research far better defined it and - surprise surprise it strongly suggests it is the right wing tea baggers that it most clearly defines!

@StunnedByStupidity That's simple, nothing has caused global warming over the last 30 years, because there hasn't been any. It's a scientific consensus that we've been in a Cooling period since the El Nino of 1997, which coincides with the solar minimum of the same period. In the Seventies Time Magazine ran a cover story that we are going into a new "Ice Age". The only reason that the media term changed from 'Global Warmimg', to 'Climate change', is because the weather wasn't 'playing ball'.
'NASA temperature graph' google it, scroll down - see that red line that has been going up for 30 fucking years. THAT TEMPERATURE RISE. And the last decade is the warmest on record, the last 12 months and 3 months - you very very very stupid human being!
What has caused it - wanker? I am getting very very very fed up suffering you you idiot.

@StunnedByStupidity Good God, that increase is only 1.5 degrees F. The beach front property you have still isn't under water, is it? Millions haven't died due to the alleged flooding, so what's the problem? Outside of your fear-mongering here!
We haven't had a major hurricane hit the US in, what 5 yrs? Since Katrina? Again, so what's the problem?
@gerrilea1 Keep you bigoted stupidity to your self I have been arguing with this other stupid money for an hour, you are even more stupid. BTW MILLIONS have died and MILLIONS flooded out in Pakistan you fucking retard.

@StunnedByStupidity Where do you get off calling me bigoted? Do you even know the definition? Clearly you don't! Name calling is the last refuge of a weak mind and argument. Too bad this point will go right over your head!
And the flooding in Pakistan has what to do with "global warming"? NOTHING!
Get back to me when you stop the 30,000 children that die worldwide on a daily basis from starvation, a preventable death! When we throw away enough food yearly that could feed 1/2 the world!
And because 30,000 a die are dying (BTW ME A LEFTIE ME KNOW THIS ALREADY THAT'S WHY ME AGAINST FREE MARKET CAPITALISM) does NOT NOT NOT mean global warming is not a problem - BIGOT - actually I'll take that back INSANE BIGOT - oh, much better.

A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices

In the 70s, scientists said the US (including Florida) would be covered in ice by the mid 1990s. . . Climatologists were saying it, scientists on the nightly news were saying it, and they were showing us charts and graphs in biology class that "proved" it. . . . Back then, anyone who didn't believe that the US would be covered in ice by the 90s, was told that they "didn't understand science" . . Sound familiar? . . . .
Dajuro 1 year ago 3
@Dajuro

That position is this: manmade global warming is not a crisis
herculese220 1 year ago
This has been flagged as spam show
@herculese220 Yes, all parties at the conference pretty much agreed that there was a good deal of warming in the 1980s and 1990s, and that the trend stopped and reversed in the current decade. Global temperatures have been falling in recent years, even though the weather stations and other data chosen to represent the official temperature records are in fact skewed to show higher and more-rising temperatures than are actually occurring.

British Petroleum, Shell, WWF and Greenpeace are all there. I wonder what any of those have to do with climate science...

Not the fear-mongering...4 or 5 degree increases they "projected" would happen by 2000. So, their "theories" are just that "theories", had they been accurate and the temp increases were where their computer models said they would be...I would have believed them.
Had they not deleted the raw data sets, I might have believed them, had I not done my own research into it!

drkstrong 1 year ago 5
This comment has received too many negative votes show
@drkstrong Now that's funny! Opps, maybe I shouldn't have told everyone...LOL!
gerrilea1 1 year ago
@gerrilea1 SOME plants (C3) grow larger, not all (C4). Larger though is not better, they need more water (which with GW they dont get as soil moisture levels drop) they dont become more nutricious as that is dependent on the minerals in the soil (so they need more fertilizer).
So the more plants produce more oxygen do they? Please expalin why O2 levels have fallen by the same amount as CO2 has increased acording to the Keeling atmospheric composition measurements.
drkstrong 1 year ago 4

@drkstrong Your opinion, facts are facts. With higher CO2 levels, plants utilize water better, not needing as much as you falsely claim here. Or you false claim that they need more fertilizer. Wow, who's the one that's presenting faux facts on the interwebs here?
Have you not researched the climate modification aerosols being used? Barium and cadmium suck the O2 out of the atmosphere. And how many hectares of the Amazon rain forests have been cut down? Or the hectares of land worldwide?
gerrilea1 1 year ago
@gerrilea1 Plants use water more efficiently if they can get it but at higher temperatures the soil moisture content is lower. Explain, i f you can, why in the areas most affected by global warming so far the crop yields have fallen.
Climate modification - more conspiracy theories. Calculate how much barium and cadmium would have to be used to drop O2 contnet by 100 ppm!

@gerrilea1 Sorry wrong again. Mammals did not appear until about 70million years ago and then they looked a lot like reptiles. I don't see your correlations, not logical lower C02 levels is not the reason mammals thrived, it's because the dino's stopped eating us! And again, if mammals could evolve with C02 levels at 4000ppm, what's the problem then today? Fear-mongering, that's all!

@drkstrong I don't know, it seems to make a lot more sense than the gibberish we hear from Al Gore. And if this is in fact the coolest interglacial period in some time, thats pretty solid evidence.

dahoeb 1 year ago
@dahoeb Gore is not a scientist but is reporting science. We have known for 100 years what caused the initiation of the interglacial and glacial periods - Milankovitch cycles (cahnges in the Earth's orbit) but they were not large enough to cause the temperature effects seen. The subsequent increase in GHGs accounts for the difference.
This time the orbits have not changed but we have dumped GHG and aerosols (important!) into the atmosphere and they are leading the temperatures not lagging

@StunnedByStupidity Where do you get off calling me bigoted? Do you even know the definition? Clearly you don't! Name calling is the last refuge of a weak mind and argument. Too bad this point will go right over your head!
And the flooding in Pakistan has what to do with "global warming"? NOTHING!
Get back to me when you stop the 30,000 children that die worldwide on a daily basis from starvation, a preventable death! When we throw away enough food yearly that could feed 1/2 the world!

@gerrilea1 Look up BIGOT bigot.

@StunnedByStupidity Bigot : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.
Where have I treated anyone one here with hatred? Or Intolerance? Wait, let's see, you have done this with anyone who doesn't agree with you!
The Pakistani floods were caused by rain! Not the ice-sheets melting or the sea-level rising. Funny how that works, right?

@gerrilea1 Look you are STUNNINGLY JAW DROPPINGLY STUPID AND ARROGANT.
BIGOT:
A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices
See you poorly educated fucking child some fucking words have more than one fucking meaning. Try fucking defining the word 'up' before looking up the definition and you will see that it means way fucking more than you think it fucking does. Now please FUCK OFF you FUCKING BIGOT!

@StunnedByStupidity F this and F that, my are we still living in Mommy & Daddy's home?
And who's the bigot here? You can't or won't even discuss maturely the topic. Name calling is all you have.
Only you've claimed I have prejudices, and I did once believe the lies of AGW, once, until I actually started to read the "scientific" papers. That's when I realized they were "gaming us" and lying! But had you read the actual "peer reviewed" materials, anyone with a HS education could see

@gerrilea1 continued, anyone could see the logic errors and obfuscation and when I dug a bit deeper, I couldn't find the actual data sets, those "scientists" deleted, destroyed or denied they had the actual figures.
And furthermore, their "adjustments" to hide declining temperatures is now known worldwide. Their lies are coming out.
All most of us wanted was the truth, no matter what it was. Facts, not opinion dressed up as facts! But now we will never no those facts!
