In some madrasah education is free of charge, so they have some business units as source of funding, and many of their graduates are working there.

For instance madrasah Darut Tauhid, they teach not only religion, but also applied business; and they open some chain convenience stores, some super market, telephone shop, publisher, tabloid & magazines, radio station, audio & video recording company, TV station, some guest house, spring water factory, and much others. hope that's help.
