  • @9bloodredsnow4 Japanese characters often have multiple pronunciations- sometimes exceeding 5! Kun-yomi, or japanese pronunciation is often used if the kanji stands for a verb or noun, and almost every kanji has an on-yomi, or Chinese sound used when making compounds. Kimi, Hitsuji, and Ao are the Kunyomi for Japanese words, but compound them and gunjou- 群青 whih has kimi and hitsuji combined in "gun" (君羊)青
